Low selfesteem. Just can't get used to the fact someone genuinly likes me, since I know some stuff about me that would annoy me...
Overall I do good, but I'm usually too thick to see a flirt, or too thick to see whenever I can try one...

I guess by choice, mostly because my ex was a whore and I don't want to have to deal with anything like that again for a while

I had a boyfriend. He was a wonderful man and a good friend. But I felt no magnetism between us. In addition, I felt as though we weren't on the same intellectual level. I'm not saying I'm smart, and I'm not saying he's dumb. I think he's just immature and not on my level.
I broke up with him five years ago, and he has asked for me back a few times. I can see that he has grown a bit, but I don't think I will ever date him again.

I have been asked out a few other times, and I have kindly denied them all. I have never felt attracted to any person in such a way. I've been attracted to intelligence and talent, but those don't make for good relationships alone.

I'm always on the lookout for when the right man will come, though.

I probably COULD get a girlfriend(there's enough women with low standards), but I really don't feel like wasting my time with the whole thing.

"Other": I recently moved to a foreign country where my command of the language is survivable, but not good enough to be interesting / amusing / witty. Given that the relocation was entirely my decision the "By Choice" response is loosely valid also.

All I can say to those of you who've never asked or been asked, and who're low on self-esteem:

Say Yes More.

I'm short, weird, not very attractive, bad at socializing, clingy, and generally very boring.

I just haven't met anybody recently who I'm interested in going out with - I see girls all the time that I'd like to potentially ask out when I'm at university, but since I don't have any classes with them or anything, it's next to impossible to actually talk to them and get to know them.

It's a mistery to me! Nah, I think it's a combination of not really feeling comfortable in relations and being somewhat picky.
It's amazing to see some friends having a relationship with the first love/date they have in life and then keeping it going for years! They manage to make it look like they're quite happy!

Never asked
I'm not a very nice person (A bit to sarcastic s I have been told)
Need to be in better state (physically and mentally I'm not fat but I lack definition, and I have mood swings sometimes)
To ready easily detracted
I haven't got any of my goals accomplished yet (need 3 the I'm ready {yes i have a list will supply if asked by anyone)}
Not enough money.

Yep There are a few reasons why but I don't care yet anyway.

Not very confident. I'm not really looking for a relationship very much either...

OP: Does not compute...finding women is way too easy.
Yeah!

How comes there's no, "Single? I'm a freaking studmuffin, baby." option?

The girl I'm crazy about (who is likewise with me) is moving to the other end of the US in a few months, so we're just having fun and wishing it was something else. Story of my life, I've never broken up with someone because I didn't like them, its just lives moving in opposite directions.

Who would want to date an alcoholic with no plans to quit the sauce any time soon?

Where's the "My Last GF Almost Turned Me Gay" option??
So I guess my reason would be spite & contempt :/
