I like seeing 100% on my PS3, Trophies a good thing in my opinion cus with them i get more hours out of a game, i like to try and Plat what i play, though i give up if i don't like the game or if its just to hard! I think its sad people actually buying games like Hannah Montanna for an easy platinum trophy!

*Donkey Kong 64 (never again...)
Why never again?

I'm curious because I am going to attempt a 100% DK 64 run this summer.
The majority of it is collection stuff, which I remember as being controller-crushingly frustrating at times, so many hoops to jump through (literally sometimes) mini-games that make you crazy when you can't seem to beat them and feeling like the controls are trying to screw you over sometimes.

Might just be because it was a long time ago or only remember the bad things.
Ah, I see. Thank you for the insight. It's been so long since I last played DK 64, and I've been jonesing for it lately. Nostalgia's a bee-etch.

I have a lot of answers, some because the game is so damn good, other because is so damn short, others because I have this thing that I have to At least finish the story of every game.
Worth my money and sometimes achievements, but just the fun achievements

I don't ever...after I beat a game I don't want to continue to play it just to get random items or do some random side quests. I find it boring and repetitive, I want to move on and play other games.

Ok the consensus seems to be only on games that you love, or if you're going to get something tangible in game as a reward. For the people who do go for 100% usually, who go into the game with the aim to get the 100%, what deters you from getting there?
