Poll: Why do you create new threads?

If I go out of my way to make a thread its often so I can get an answer. Not really all that bothered about boosting my ego or making threads just for the sake of making a thread. Its either to get information or to find out the other side of the argument.

To be truthful though I made a majority of mine to help people like with my Community Thread

I've only made one thread, but I made that thread so that I could have a question answered. I'll likely continue making threads for that reason, so that's what I voted for.

Ive only made one and it was simply to see if i can actually make interesting discussion. it got 2 or 3 pages and i plan on making another once i find an idea for one.

This. I've made 5 threads, all of which posed some moral dilemma or interesting question or something. Fun to see what people respond with.

My answer. that poll sucks i think.

I made a thread to warn people of a security breach yesterday.. that does not fit in that poll and at any other time none of those options applied. usualy its just to discuss something good, bad, or whatever isnt why. its just i want to talk about it. and then theres i saw something and i thought others may be interested in it.

Weird poll, didn't know what to answer really. It really depends on the thread, but for all of them it's because I'm interested in other's thought on the subject. However my most recent thread, my review of Duke Nukem Forever, was more to the point of me feeling like it should be said. I have to defend me liking DNF!

Most of the time it's because I want an answer to something, but sometimes it's just for fun to get people talking and having a laugh. Sometimes it works, sometimes it just disappears into obscurity.
