Poll: Why don't you finish your games?

Because my job only lets me take games home for four nights at a time, and I often like to leave my house and be around other people consuming drinks of a refreshing nature for extended periods of time. I noticed "social life" wasn't among your options for the poll.

Ususally either I develop disinterest, or it's just too fucking hard.

The last game I didn't finish was Pik-min (or whatever) because it was.. Well.. Strange.

For me it's generally RPGs, and it's always because I realise how much better I could have done if I'd just made slightly different choices. So I restart the game, only to get bored with it before I get back to the point of the plot where I'd decided to restart.

I just have too many games to play, and too little time.

Then buy less games and play them till the end, instead of buying all those games and not playing them through?

But then I don't have all the games I want to have.

But why do you want all those games, and why do you want them instantly? They're not going away, and if you wait a couple of months they might even drop in price... It's obvious you can't play them all at once...

You have a point there.
But when you spend a long time looking forward to a game, it's hard to not buy it when it finally comes out.
And it's not like I'm constantly buying new games.
Currently I'm into Minesweeper, Civilization III, Wii Sports Resort, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy Tactics A2.
I've had Minesweeper, Civ III, Fire Emblem, Chrono Trigger and FFTA2 for a long time now. I just never finished them.
The only new game I bought was Wii Sports Resort. And that's just for multiplayer purposes.

Because there are very few games that I think are anywhere near worth fifty to sixty dollars, as in the only game in recent memory that was was Fallout 3, as in I only rent games, and they still aren't even worth eight dollars most of the time. So I usually don't have the time to do everything.
