Poll: Why you got a 360

As I disapprove of your poll choices, I'll answer with "I'm less rich than a PS3 owner". The real reason is that I only owned a Wii and sing how it has a low amount of good games, I thought I should get a new console. I got the 360 because I didn't want to choose between a PS3 and food for a week (however, I'm not saying the PS3 is a bad console).

I got a 360 because of a better controller (pretty important considering I need it to play the actual games), better exclusives to me at least, better on line sevices, and cheaper.

You guys realize he said that this wasn't supposed to be serious, right? Calm down a bit. I got a 360 because I'm poor. MGO seems fun though....
I was planning to wait for a PS3, but my wife and I were out shopping one night, looked at some of the games available on the 360, and decided to take one home with us (we placed our preorder on the Wii the same night). I hadn't even considered owning a 360 before that night, but I sure don't regret the decision. We have a PS3 now and it hardly gets used.
I got mine because it's the cheapest console to get, and I already had a PS3. Well that and exclusives like gears, halo. Also I've sold ps3 versions of games to buy them again on 360 for the sole reason that (only really unreal engine games) run slightly better.
You know, if you worded this thread a bit less abusively it could well have been a very interesting one...
As it is, i can see it getting locked very soon.
Anyway, answering it properly:
I got a 360 only to play games that weren't available on the PC.
Why 360 over PS3?
-360 was considerably cheaper
-i vastly prefer the 360's controller
-there are many exclusives i wanted for the 360 (RPGs mainly) and virtually nothing on the PS3 that interested me
And slightly lesser reasons:
-i dislike Sony way more than Microsoft (especially Sony's shocking levels of raw arrogance towards the consumer)
-i really think the PS3 is ugly (it maybe shiny, but a shiny ugly thing is still ugly)
-i knew 6-8 people with 360's, vs 1 with a PS3: so went for the 360 for online with friends

I got mine because a friend had one, and he showed me all the Youtube videos for Assassins' Creed. However if I had more money I would probably have gone for the PS3.
I beat Resident Evil 4, I heard that they were making Resident Evil 5, realized that I couldn't play that on a PS2 so I bought a 360. Also, if this was a joke, I'm not seeing the humor.
I don't have a 360, i have a PS3, so these are my reasons why i DIDN'T get a 360:
A) I'm a PC Gamer and most 360's games are on the PC too.
B) Can't afford to pay for Live Gold membership
C) I preferred the blu-ray of the PS3
D) Better exclusive games for me on the PS3
E) Built in Wi-fi at no extra cost(very handy)
F) Lots of my friends play on the PS3
