Poll: why you got a wii

Nintendo did the smart thing when it started out as a company: Instead of focusing on the most powerful hardware, or impressive graphics, it devoted its games to iconic characters. Mario, Link, Pikachu and Kirby are basically the Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny of the gaming world, and their games never disappointed.

Zelda is one of my favorite video game franchises, and there's no way on Earth I'd miss Super Smash Bros. Brawl


...Plus, the Wii is WAAAAY cheaper... money is the only reason I haven't gotten a 360 yet.

It was a gift. However, we have Metroid, No More Heroes, Okami, Smash Bros, Zelda, and Mario (and they're all awesome)

Because it has more quality games that I want than any other console, by far. And this is the only reason anybody should need to purchase any console over the others, ever.

Have you checked out No More Heroes? If not, you should; one of the best titles of the year.

When it first came out, the motion controls seemed interesting.
I had spare money.
I didn't know Nintendo decided to stop making real games. (I know there are a few quality titles for the Wii, I don't literally mean that, it's just a depressingly small rate)

Because it was different, and I've always loved Nintendo. Unfortunately, since I'm never allowed to enjoy anything too much, someone broke into my house and stole it, along with my laptop.

That was last year, though, so I'm over it.

I like playing video games and the Wii has some good titles.

Now, I'm off to start an XBox thread titled, "XBot 360 losers, when did you stop killing children?" The thread would just be a joke and I own one of the shitty things so don't take offence. ROFLCOPTERS, guffaw, hoot hoot, e.t.c.
