I MIGHT call it a cult if it wasn't for the fact that it looks like a really smart money-making scheme targeting the rich and famous... so, yay for business. Take money away from stupid rich people. :)

There is no difference between a cult and a religion, you can apply the the descriptions of both to each other. As for Scientology, I don't really care people are so blindingly obviously wrong and moronic, they can choose whatever the hell they want to believe. Just if I ever properly met one of them and discussed it I feel that they would leave the conversation feeling ridiculed.

I think it's a stupid idealogy that just ropes stupid rich folk in, like tom cruise and john travolta, then makes them the "chief priests" of said "religion". it's pitiful, and i'm glad someone is taking some sort of stand against it.

Here's something rather amusing I found out.

To reach the OT3 level (operating theaten), you must take a $5,000 course.

At the end of the course, you should have telekinesis and out-of-body experiences.

If not, then you have to take the course again - and pay for it :D

True...although I do take great pleasure in pointing out the obvious flaws in other people's viewpoints
