Poll: Wikipedia Bans Scientology

That said, Wikipedia is founded on principles of openness and freedom, and as such shouldn't be censoring anyone.

There is no difference between a cult and a religion, you can apply the the descriptions of both to each other. As for Scientology, I don't really care people are so blindingly obviously wrong and moronic, they can choose whatever the hell they want to believe. Just if I ever properly met one of them and discussed it I feel that they would leave the conversation feeling ridiculed.

I think it's a stupid idealogy that just ropes stupid rich folk in, like tom cruise and john travolta, then makes them the "chief priests" of said "religion". it's pitiful, and i'm glad someone is taking some sort of stand against it.

To reach the OT3 level (operating theaten), you must take a $5,000 course.

At the end of the course, you should have telekinesis and out-of-body experiences.

True...although I do take great pleasure in pointing out the obvious flaws in other people's viewpoints
