Poll: will resident evil ever go back to just being a zombie game?

I want them to remake Survivor with the over-the-sholder gameplay, a better story and better AI. I don't care what people say. I liked that game.

They might do but, they might not because the smarter infected enemies are much more fun to fight against imo. If I felt like killing zombies, I would just fire up L4d2. However, the old RE's were fun too, dodging zombies and trying to conserve your ammo battling against the odds.

Even if they bring them back or not, I don't mind as long as they make GOOD RE games.

I want zombies back, even though 4 was the best game. Five just sucked hard. I guess what I'm trying to say is, they need to make another game like 4, but with zombies instead of parasites.

I don't see why people say that Resident Evil is tied inherently with zombies. Its not called Resident Zombie. The plagas fit pretty well with the overall theme and the gameplay. If the series just wallowed in tired gameplay mechanics and story themes I doubt anyone would care anymore.

For all of those lamenting the decline of the resident evil series into mindless shoot 'em up squalor, just play the REmake over and over again. No new game capcom could make in classic resident evil style could ever be better than that.

Bring back the crimson mother fuckers the scariest things to deal with. yeah im kinda tired of the parasite thing. i wasnt even a fan of the leeches from zero. idk horror has been replaced with action in just about every series now. My opinion of 5 is that it was a great game it just wasnt a resident evil game at least by the feel of it idk if im explaining that correctly
