Not on Release Date, but I will definately get a WiiU as soon as I possibly could. I am just a die hard Nintendo Fan.
Fun fact: The super awesome Xenoblade Chronicles (part of Operation Rainfall) was developed by Monolith Soft, a first party developer for the Wii. How's that for crazy?Atmos Duality said:Fuck no.
I have no confidence in Nintendo's ability to bring actual GAMES to their systems anymore.
The turning point for me was Wii Music; it's a tragedy that such useless garbage turned a profit. But the last straw was when Nintendo openly rejected bringing some actual good games ("Operation Rainfall")to the Wii in America because they thought they were TOO GOOD FOR US.
Nintendo: "Fuck giving your console some badly-needed 3rd party presence, we have more Fisher Price Wiimote attachments to sell you! Now get back to jacking off in front of your TV to Raving Rabbids and Wii Sports Resort!"
See this is a complaint I just don't get.Why would they include backwards compatibility for a console 2 generations old?A console that very few people bought in the first place I might add.Does anyone expect Sony or Microsofts next consoles to be backwards compatible with the PS2 or Xbox?tikitime said:Also no backwards compatibility with gamecube kinda sucks.
It's more depressing than anything. Here they have games actual gamers want, but they still play Keep-Away like a bunch of assholes because Nintendo is afraid that these games could HURT THE DYING WII'S IMAGE?Arqus_Zed said:Fun fact: The super awesome Xenoblade Chronicles (part of Operation Rainfall) was developed by Monolith Soft, a first party developer for the Wii. I'm unsure about Xenoblade. Will have to check again.(By the way, aren't they bringing that one to America now?)
