Fable 3 is a pretty fun game, I'll give it that, but with the huge (over six months!) gap between it being released on the Xbox and it recently arriving on the PC, I'm curious as to how well it's going to sell on the latter. If it had been released simultaniously, or at least with a reasonable gap such as a fortnight, I would have bought the PC version without a second thought and even now I'm tempted just by the (apparent) inclusion of a 'repair all' button for your properties (that the dev can't patch into the consol verison for.... why is that now?). However, at the end of the day I will not be buying the same game twice just to be able to play it on diffrent platforms.

(Yes, I know that Fable 3 is already out on Steam, just read 'will be buying it' as 'will be buying or have already bought it.')

It depends.
Simon from Yogscast is currently stuck in a tree.

If the devs fix that, I'll seriously consider buying it.
'cos not fixing a bug that has existed since the launch of the xbox version is unacceptable.

Nope.

I played Fable 1. That was enough to permanently turn me off the series.

Playing through Fable 1 again right now. Sure it's not a very impressive or deep RPG, but it is a big, dumb fun action-adventure.

I might get Fable 3 when it comes down in price.

Nope. I like every Fable except for 3. I got it for the xbox, and it's my only xbox purchase I regret, aside from Ninety-Nine Nights.

I have Fable 3 on Xbox so I personally won't be getting it.

However, I have mixed feelings on whether to recommend it to other people, it could have been so much better than it was. Even just with a few small changes (like a 'repair all' function for an area of houses) I still enjoyed playing it however.

I am still mixed about it.

This. MS is going to lose SO many sales because Simon got stuck in a tree.

OT: Nope Witcher 2 just came out. Priorities.

And btw, I actually played Fable 1 but NOT Witcher 1. And I'm STILL getting Witcher 2 because.....well it seems Awesome that's why...

....When it becomes cheap, I mean around £5-£10 otherwise no.

Edit:OP, you may want to refine the answers a little.

Nope, I had it on 360, I didn't find it too enjoyable and traded it in.

It had its moments but when the best thing you can say about a game is that the voice acting is awesome (Which it is as it includes Stephen Fry, Simon Pegg, John Cleese and many many more) and that it looks pretty (Which it does) you know there's something wrong.

I'd say wait for a price drop before getting it for anyone on the fence.

No I don't have it and I refuse to pay Peter anything.
Get your act together mate, You made 'Dungeon Keeper'! Why can't you use that brilliant mind of yours and do some good in this desolate desert we call 'PC games', make something at least half as original as 'Dungeon keeper'.
I still play the damn game on a windows 7 ! THAT is why I'm so disappointed.
