Poll: Will you be upgrading your operating system soon?

I'm sticking with Vista for now, solely because I'm a sound engineer and I don't want to risk all of my software suddenly failing.

That, and I plan on obtaining a Mac of some description in the next two to five years.

i have win XP, Vista and 7RC (getting full in October) so i dont think i can upgrade (mac's dont count)

I'm currently running Ubuntu Linux, but I want to change to XP or some approximation thereof so that I can play games. I weep at the lack of support that the WINE emulator gives for most games.

Currently running 7 on my laptop and XP on my notebook. I think I'll be sticking with XP on the netbook seeing as memory usage is minute in comparison to Vista and 7, but I really like 7 on my faster comp: it does everything well where Vista failed.

I will continue to use XP until good games start to require that I use something else. I like XP.

But then I'm one of those crazy folks who likes Vista, so take that as you will.

I will be upgrading to 7 as soon as it is released. As a student, I was told that I get a free copy of it. Thank god for school!

Hell yeah! I just bought a new laptop like a month ago, which comes with a free upgrade to Windows 7 upon it's release. I'm psyched as hell because Vista sucks rancid balls.

I feel like I just paid for the best looking prostitute, only to find out that she has the swine flu. At least the vaccines release date is right around the corner.

I'm sticking with Vista for a while methinks. If I can afford it, I may upgrade to 7 in a year or so, but Vista's been more than enough for my needs thus far, so I see no need to change.

Gonna stick with Vista until I buy a new computer.
Then I'm upgrading to Windows 7.

I'm still butthurt over Vista, but I am interested to see how 7 is received as far as gaming goes. The only thing I've really about 7 so far is that it's a little speedier than Vista and it handles networking a little better, beyond that I got nothin'.

I just got Windows 7 from my college for free and I must say that it is amazing. I love it.

I've never liked XP (I much preferred to stick with Win98 than upgrade to it for the longest time) Vista was great, I had no problems with it at all. Same with 7 now.

If I happen to by a laptop anytime soon, I might just wait for Windows 7. Christ knows I'd never get Vista. I actually had them take Vista off of my computer and replace it with XP when I bought it.

I'll be sticking with Vista for a little, probably upgrade to 7 after 6 months or so. May put it on my laptop so I can get familiar with it though.

I have a Technet Plus subscription, and have been running Windows 7 Ultimate full version since it came out (I think it was the sixth of last month).

So I guess I'll stick to my current OS, as there is no upgrade

Also, I am not impressed with Windows 7 at all. Seems very much like Vista 1.1 to me...

I'll be picking up an upgrade to Vista 7 come January. Seeing the back end of Vista will be a treat.
