Poll: Will You Buy a 3DS?

Well, the 3DS is out in Japan, and has nearly sold out already. It's about a month away from releasing in the US, so will you buy one once it's released? I'm probably going to wait. First off, I don't have the funds as of now. Not to mention, $250 is an assload of money. If I'm going to spend $250 on something, I'm gonna get it in the color I damn well want. So I'm holding out until the red and purple ones are released (although I'll probably crack if it's anything more than a year).

I'm a solid maybe. I mean I JUST got my DSlite (got it for free otherwise I would have waited for the 3DS) so I've got loads of DS games to play. Plus the only 3DS game I'm interested in at the moment is the Kingdom Hearts release. I'll probably get it, but after a year at least.

I'll be buying mine once Mega Man Legends 3 is out. It will likely be cheaper by then, too.

Probably, considering the console gets a good enough library. 3D has no gameplay benefits, and I'm not a fan of Nintendo first-party titles either.

I'll probably buy one about a year down the road, though it depends on the game library having enough titles that peak my interest by then. if not, I'll slap on another year. Rinse, repeat.

Im getting it on launch date, only by fear that it will be sold out in the future.

If the wiis sales and the amount of spoiled kids with every ds type's anything to go by, that will be pretty soon

I wish I could buy a 3DS on launch day.. And I would if not for one problem. I am moving to another country 5 days before it's released... There's no way I can get one til I come back to the USA to visit DX

I'm definitely going to buy it but I'm probably going to wait until there are more games out that I want, I'm not super fond of any of the launch games, although Nintendogs + Cats seems like it would be pretty cute, but still I'll hold off at first.

Probably not. The PSP2 is looking better and better, while the 3DS doesn't seem to add anything except 3D capabilities, which after the first 15 minutes of AWESOME!1!11 will not hold much weight.

I'm not into Nintendo's lineup, so what difference would the whole 3D thing exactly make?

The starying line up isn't appealing and a new version is imminent, so I'll wait for a while.

Too many games and improvements too pass it up.

Not at launch, but I will buy it. Personally, the 3D and the launch titles arent very appealing. However, it has a good future catalogue. Theres also the fact it has downloads for Lots of old gameboy games, which is what im most interested in. And the fact that my DS is broken, so I can play my DS games. So Ill probably buy it as soon as something I want comes out on it.

I want to wait. The only reason I would get one is for Pokemon and the re-releases of the N64 games (Ocarina and Star Fox...well, the star fox one looks like a re-release anyway).

As I've said elsewhere, I'm also waiting to see when/ if they release the next version of the 3DS. The intervening time between the release the DS and the DSlite...well...ok, it took about a year-and-a-half or, 2 years but still! Those years passed quickly...Maybe I'll get one anyway, I don't freaking know. I'm too indecisive to commit.

Eh...I'll wait both until the price drops and until it has at least a dozen games I'd want to play. The DS lineup never catered to my interests much.

Right now, I'm awaiting, and I mean patiently, the re-release of the new and improved(At least I hope) Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time. It's only that and several other titles that have me anticipating the release of the 3DS.
