Damn straight, "variety is the spice of life", and the time has sweetened it here, because all the FPS-es at the time 1998, were basically the same: monsters/na'zi shot with variety of imagined guns. And released today, it's unique. Still the original thing about this series is the character himself. Duke Nukem is like no other. No space suit of armor, no regenerating health, a lot of weapons including his mighty foot. I saw one-liners in Gears of War, but it wasn't the same. There are too many dudes and too few women in GoW and the Duke is all about the ladies. Hail to the king, baby!Sgt. Sykes said:

Over hyped? This game doesn't need hype. It was hyped a long time ago and that's then. Now, only the mention of it's name makes people crazy "...with a new Duke Nukem teaser.
