No, I generally don't like first person shooters unless they have RPG elements and/or a cool story/atmosphere (Deus Ex/bioshock)

I will, but only when the price tag hits 9-14£. I buy any worthless game at that price range just because of the wonderful trophies.
will not buy. im not interested in the multiplayer, and the single player does not look long enough (or epic enough) to be worth the buy for me. plus i get super cheap rentals where i work, so imma just rent it. probably a week or 2 after it comes out though

When I want realism, I'll play ARMA 2 or Flight Simulator.
When I want fun, I'll look to Duke Nukem.
When I want senseless, brainless, mindless, thoughtless shooty gun play, I'll look to Call of Duty 4...and then turn quickly away and look back to Duke Nukem.
Even though it may not have the heart it once had, and the game play may be extracted from Halo and Call of Duty, I play it for Duke. He's a parody of himself, and I enjoy laughing along as he laughs at himself. Better than smug super hero soldiers running dumbfoundedly into the middle of a firefight yelling all that hollywood take-cover-shoot-them-grenade-exclimationpoint-get-to-the-choppa gibberish. But that's just me.

Nostalgia. The originals aren't even that good, controversial. That's what sold, with all due respect to the ladies, tits. The tits in the game sold back then and the tits in the game will sell now.

Nope. I never played Duke Nukem as a child, so nostalgia doesn't sell it to me, and I've never really had much interest in the franchise. I may have bought it if the demo was good, but it just wasn't.
