I was interested in it, but now seeing the demo, the game has no appeal to me. I didn't play Duke Nukem as a kid, so nostalgia isn't a factor (and that's how it should be). It seems like less of the 'balls to the walls' action and more like 'marbles to the sidewalk'. It's as if the developers said "let's not make this too different from every other modern shooter, guys". Although, I don't really have a problem with regenarating health, to be honest.
I'm glad about this too. There's just so many games coming out that I'm interested in. Like for example right now I have both inFamous 2 and Witcher 2 on my plate, and I have to finish them quickly before the next interesting things comes out.

Played the demo and it's ok. Just ok.
I'll pick up the game once it gets discounted substantially. It's definitely not worth full price.

You realise when you do that you are not only giving them money from a sale but undermining the 2nd-hand market leading to more likely someone buys a new copy.Polarity27 said:

Pirating it would hurt them more (please pirate the console version if any version) even if you don't play it.

I was tempted to pre order having grown up with Duke Nukem 3D, but decided to wait... after watching what people did with the demo im glad i waited.
Im half holding out hope that it'll be good.... but that seems like a forlorn hope....

I will buy it just for the shake of having the latest Duke game.
But I don't think it will be a day one purchase,and perhaps I will wait for a price drop first.
I played the demo but disappointed me instead of exciting me.
I'll wait to see some reviews to learn if some problems the demo had are fixed in the final version,and if they are and they game is better on almost everything I will buy it before price drop.If the game is as bad as the demo,then I'll wait until it's 15$ and they have released mod tools for the pc version.
If they let the game out with all those problems the demo had,THEY HAVE TO release mod tools so we can fix the game to a playable status.

Naw, partially because the crassness seems like it would get annoying (see Bulletstorm), but also because it doesn't look particularly noteworthy other than the aforementioned sense of humor that doesn't really get me. Maybe later on though when it's cheaper.
