Poll: Will you buy Heavy Rain?

I'm just wondering if this game will be commercialy successful or not. From the reviews so far it looks like it will be critically successful but as games like Psychonauts show us that is not alwasy enough.

Anyway, I voted for the third option myself.

The Demo was really good. Best way to use QTE's I've ever seen.

But now I got the AVP demo and that too is fucking epic!

It's so hard to decide....

No. I will not buy the game. It's probably by the same reason I'm not so fond of thrillers.

I would, however, buy a similar game with a different genre. Like a horror game. It would be a game I would buy, and have my friends sit down and play with me.

I will.. eventually. I've got a lot of games to beat, and I've already got Freedom Force, Fallout Collection, The Longest Journey and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey on my to-buy list. Plus, I can't stop playing Mass Effect 2, it's like drugs.

Nope. As I said in another thread, for a game that relys on immersion, it's very quick to remind you you're in a game.

On the other hand, I actually screamed in the AvP demo when a Predator uncloaked in front of me. Then I beat it to death with a pulse rifle because I forgot how to shoot in a blind panic.

No. I barely know anything about the game, but from what I know, it does not seem very interesting.

Honestly I've already pre-ordered it. Since I first heard about it I was excited. The story seems good and it seems like something that could be real interesting.

Firstly, because I don't have a PS3.

And secondly, for a game that is all about story, some of the gameplay videos showed some pretty shoddy voice acting at times. I've heard there's some major plot holes too.

It looks like an interesting experiment. I'm unsure whether it will be a successful one. It's certainly not whats going to force me to buy a PS3.
