Where is the "I don't know! I liked the demo but I've already bought 3 games this year!" option?

I thought I wouldn't like it, but I loved the demo. It's a lot more interactive than I thought, and the fight scene in the demo, although QTE based, was very intense. The dialogue system is ace as well.

I wasn't interested at first, but now I might look into it, IF I have some money to spare. Bad Company 2 still gets priority over this.

Having 15 threads on one game is a bad thing, the first page is almost all one topic, its annoying as hell.

Yeah, definitely buying it. From all that I have seen about it it might not be the best value for money in the world, but it looks like a proper gem for any gamer's collection.

I played the demo and was half repelled by the control set-up and half fascinated by the story. So I'll probably buy it and play it at night alone and scare myself silly.

I dunno. On one hand, I want to in order to show support for the characters dying, staying dead while the world goes on without them thing. On the other, I dislike quicktime events, and the entire game is quicktime events. Probably later, when there's a good discount on it. I just can't see it having all that much replay value.

I'm just wondering if this game will be commercialy successful or not. From the reviews so far it looks like it will be critically successful but as games like Psychonauts show us that is not alwasy enough.

Anyway, I voted for the third option myself.

I think it will do well enough, but it won't be a triumph or anything. It's not hyped enough for that. And before you say "wat, people in here are talking about it all the time", remember that this is a gaming website. If you ask the average PS3 owner if they know Final Fantasy or Gran Tourismo or God Of War, they will answer yes, but if you ask them if they know Heavy Rain they will most likely say no.

I always appreciate a game that does things differently,such as Shadow of the Colossus or Fahrenheit(which was made by the same people who made Heavy Rain, I believe), so I think yeah I'll give it a look.

Nope. I applaud them for experimenting, we all know there's precious little of that in the industry, but it just doesn't appeal to me.
