I don't have a PS3 and even if I did have one,it hasen't interested me enough to purchase it. This is mainly due to the fact that I haven't been following or looking into it at all.

im looking forward to this game. Its always fun when new things crop up and its at least our duty as gamer to try them. Where would we be without trying? I doubt dragons lair, guitar hero or fps would exist without someone saying yeah id like to try that

Nope, I'm not one who will enjoy quick time events repeated throughout a game, however were a friend to get it I think I would be able to sit back and watch without 1) Feeling bored or 2) Feeling jealous that I don't get a turn.

The game looks interesting but i haven't read too much into it, does Heavy Rain remind anyone else of Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy?

Sorry man, no offense meant to you in partcular, but if one more person mentions Psychonauts I might have to rip their damned head off.

OT: I don't have a PS3 because I didn't have the foresight to realize that the PS3 would one day kick ass and went with an Xbox.

EDIT: I also want to point out that this game is not an "experiment" as a poll option seems to indicate. As someone so eager to mention Psychonauts in your OP I think it strange that you don't know about Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Grim Fandango, and Full Throttle, all games from the same genre as Heavy Rain.

It was supposed to be a PC & PS3 title, they dropped PC support last year and I was so looking forward to this game... so DAMN, if only I had a PS3.

I dunno. On one hand, I want to in order to show support for the characters dying, staying dead while the world goes on without them thing. On the other, I dislike quicktime events, and the entire game is quicktime events. Probably later, when there's a good discount on it. I just can't see it having all that much replay value.

No. I will not buy the game. It's probably by the same reason I'm not so fond of thrillers.

I would, however, buy a similar game with a different genre. Like a horror game. It would be a game I would buy, and have my friends sit down and play with me.
