they will find my one day in a distant future stiff as a broomstick mouse in my right hand and my left on the keyboard and my empty dead eyes still stareing at the screen

Many people say yes. But by the time they hit 30 they have abandoned games. How old will you get before you stop?
wrong bud... most people i game-hard with are between 20-45.

similar to what Furburt said, the average age of gamers in New Zealand and Australia are between 25 and 40 years old.

On the basis that I study physics, and all of my lecturers that were able to get into gaming still do (many of whom are well into their 40s...) I'd have to assume it will be my only friend. But then, that's why I study physics...

Most likely. I can't say for sure without use of a time machine, but I can't imagine ever giving up video games all together.

Until my fingers stop moving, or until developers stop making good games (the latter will most likely come first).

I intend to keep gaming as long as I can, to that effect I plan to not get married and definately not have kids, little bastards trying to play daddy's games.

I'll probably still play when I'm 60...and if I ever need to go to a retirement home for whatever reason, I better be able to still play my games! :D

Don't see what age has anything to do with me not being able to play games and have fun. Thats like saying "You still watch movies? A little old for that don't you think?"...games are entertainment just like movies are :)

Hopefully, I'll have a girlfriend and a real job by the time I'm 30... so to answer the question, I'll probably still just be playing games.
