I have the release candidate as dual boot, and like people already said it looks nice... if you use a touchscreen or tablet. alot of space is beeing wasted on the metro interface.
But what i dislike more is that there is a feeling of missing continuity between metro en desktop. feels like you have to personalize your desktop twice in the same os.
Performance wise i couldnt find a difference but havent had a benchmark game nearby.
UI smoothness already is good in win 7 for me, didnt notice anything better there either.
