Well, if I'm attracted to nobody, then who would I be attracted to?

Either way, I'd probably mourn the loss of my innocence.
Are you A-sexual?
i have an A sexual friend its kinda sad because he is really boring and can't take place in most of my seventeen year old discussions about hot girls.
My little brother is asexual, so you're not alone in the world.

What's the difference between bisexuality and pansexuality, dare I ask?

"Pansexual" is a pretentious synonym for "bisexual".
Ohh, bitchy! Ha, no there is some distinction just very little. The term pansexual is used to describe those that have feelings for people both sexes but not in defined gender roles like the term bisexual means.

Oh wait, that does sound pretentious. Just call me a pretentious then!
Look, there are only 2 genders: Male and female. If you're attracted exclusively to the opposite gender you're an heterosexual, if you're attracted exclusively to your own gender you're a homosexual, if you're attracted to both genders regardless you're a bisexual. There are no further possible combination. If you're capable of loving someone despite their gender you're bisexual! Because it means you're capable of physical attraction to both genders.

Don't worry I know :). Its just a but of a laugh that I have with friends 'ohh, you're a better class queer are you?' (Yeah I know its wrong, but its most peoples perception of bisexuality, so I humour there silly little heads) most of them are bi curious at the least so its an in joke. Sorry to let such things run rampant of the internet.

At the end of the day its a nice little name for something that something that doesn't really matter, as long as YOU are happy with your orientation. Call yourself whatever you want, just have a little fun if you enjoy dabbling (aware of the asexuals in the thread).

Nothing wrong with comedy actually. The world would be a better place if people would learn to laugh at themselves.

I'm English! My life consists of a 50:30:20 split between laughing at things and moaning about them. The last 20 percent is the time we spend apologising lol.

Though I do understand our little island is the minority on this.

I'm so close to bi-sexual it isn't even funny. Hell, me and my wife had a three-way with one of her ex-boyfriends a couple years back and it was pretty awesome. Hell, the only real thing standing in my way is wrapping my brain around the concept of playing catcher to another dude...not that I think it's gross or anything, I just like being in control.

"How awesome would that be? To be bisexual? To walk into a room and just go 'Mmmm...alright!'"

--Henry Rollins, musing about sexuality

EDIT: PANSEXUAL?! Jebus, I'd never get any rest...

I would be confused. Very confused, seeing as everything I know about it says that you're born with it, but say I was hit with a ray of sorts.. (a RAYnbow hahaha joke) and woke up a homosexual.. I would probably be confused, try to find out how/why, but other than that, there's not much I could do but live with it. =/

I'd wake up, think "Maybe I DO like only guys?" .. but then I'd turn around see my beautiful partner and just say to myself: "Naaaah."

As one who believes the natural state of sexuality is to have neither sex as a preference and it is social and psychological mimes which defines one way or the other... I would have to say I would remain unchanged. Being bisexual to start with would help, unless I wake up and find neither sex attractive any more?

If that was the case then I would truly fit the only definition of abnormal sexuality that Freud put forth: Having no sexual attractions what so ever. That would probably bother me a bit, but on the up side I would be able to live in a room somewhere with just a comp.... wait a minute!

its sad he can't take place in are discussions about girls even my gay friend will chip with a hot guy and we all agree hes hot but from a straight guy kind of view and then look uncomfortable.

I'm just not that fond of people on a whole, and waking up figuring out that I'm sexually attracted to them all wouldn't really change much. Actually, it would probably trigger some kind of strange sub-conscious response and make me hate them more. Bastards.

Is this hypothetical, or are you arguing that this applies to your personal life?
This means that I'm not horny. I don't want sex, and I have never been sexually aroused.

I wrote that under the assumption that people would take, "Attracted" as "sexually attracted."
