Two, a Feral Tauren Druid and a Blood Elf Holydin since our guild needed more healers for a while, then after I got to 80 found more than we needed.
WoW wasn't a bad game, it just wasn't a sensational one after the exploration was done, I'm rather glad to be out there discovering so many other things.

One Dwarf Rogue, level 80. He was really cool, and where my name actually originated (Sturmdolch). However, after hitting 80, I found there wasn't anything interesting for me to do, so I quit. Lord of the Rings Online, on the other hand... I wish I had the dollars and time to play it.
My brother has one level 80 Human Paladin and a 76 Dwarf Hunter that he just refuses to level. He claims he's gonna try and get his priest and his warlock to 80 before Cataclysm comes out though.
Have about twelve, together with my bf, scattered over various accounts. Yes, you can do that, and still have what closely reassembles a life, if you do not look to close, and can't be bothered by puny things like regular work, acceptable grades in the studiesor socialacceptance, all of which I find quite overrated in modern days.
I have 13 80's, 3 70s and a hndful of lvl 60 under alts.
All toons are on the same account, no Recruit-A-Friend perks were used to level each toon. I did them on my own and my record 1-80 was in 6.5 days while maxing out my professions as well. On top of that, I'm considered legally blind with my best vision in one eye at 20/400 (no typo - four hundred).

2 x Mage = Horde and Ally
2 x Hunter - Both Ally D/S
2 x Priest = Both Ally D/S

Deathknight (only 1)

By Cata release I will have 15 80s once I top off my 70H Pally and 70H DK - If I have enough time, I'll wrap up my 40A Shaman.

Let's see, my Mage is an Undead female, if I remember correctly it started as a Human male.
My warrior I made back in vanilla, it was a night elf male, then I made it a female in wrath, then eventually a Tauren male.
My rogue is an Undead male, it started as a night elf male as well.
And..my Paladin was always a Blood Elf, used to be a male but now it's female.
But you can add another 80+ when Cataclysm comes and I start rolling around on my Worgen with plainstriding.
