There are three movies which tie for the position of "My least favourite". IN no particular order these are:
Juno-The very definition of being stereotypically indie (i.e make all the characters hateable teenage hipster douchebags and every five dollars spent is used to make it look like only one dollar was spent), not to mention the fact that the characters were dry and one-dimensional, the story was boring and predictable and it made SO MUCH FUCKING MONEY, HOW?
I'm not there-I have a feeling that certain man is going to start a random argument with me for this but the film is pretentious, boring, try hard and there are so many pointless scenes (So one of the characters, a small African American child who I suppose represented Bob Dylan's sense of being down-laden blues folk man, gets swallowed by a stop motion whale at one point...I'm not making this up).
Arizona Dream-What. The. Fuck mr Emir Justurica, how could you even make this? Like, honestly, you thought "Hey, let's make an arthouse film with...Johhny Depp and it starts off with...an eskimo, and it will feature such scenes as...a man arguing loudly about abortion and Johhny's...idiotic actor friend badly attempting to mimic raging bull at the cinema".
I simply wasn't able to sit all the way through any of these, I ended up being sick the day after watching I'm not there (vomiting). SZomething like The Room, that's so bad it's good. These, they're just bad.
