Poll: Worst thing you've ever done in a fit of Game/Nerd Rage?

I joined a room in the Free Play (or whatever teh fuck it's called) in GTA IV. Immediately I spoke once and almost immediateyl eveyone began yelling sexist shit and tried to piss me off. After about 5 minutes of this shit I snapped.

I grabbed an assault rifle and proceeded to fuck people up majorly. Blowing up their choppers, vehicles and killing them relentlessly, all without dying once. I do remember laughing somewhat hysterically, and it only seemed to creep everyone out. Fro that point on all I heard ws them panicking and saying stuff like "oh damn she's coming FLOOR IT!". It got even worse for them when I got a chopper. They ended up fearquitting.

Scaaaaaaary. I'd probably just get extremely pissed and fight back or quit, but at least fight for a little bit; I don't really quit if it's one person.

Worst I've done is throw my controller against the wall, 2 times so far on 2 different controllers with the same little chipped piece gone. The left analog stick would stay up a little when I pushed it all the way up. E.g. When playing Oblivion and leveling up stealth, I could push up on the left stick and walk into a corner and come back 15 mins when it was done leveling.

i wrecked two controllers over pro evolution soccer 6 for ps2. i was not bad at all at the game. sometimes i would dominate everyone and their friends when we were playing against each other. but i still lost everytime. it was like i would have 20 chances to score and my opponent 4 and i would not be able to get a goal while the other guy gets one everytime he´s shooting the ball near my goal. also, pse in general can be so unfair! i lost so many times because my opponent would get a penalty shot because npcs of my team foul the opponents players brutally right in front of my goal. don´t even get me started on them getting red cards... i still have a profound hatred for the pse developers because i truly believe they hate players and their games are masochistic devices in disguise.

OT: I usually do one of two things when I get angry at a game. If it's single player I quit. Multiplayer, I start playing relentless mind games with the offending player.

Agreed, finding a decent game in that shit is nearly impossible. A better system for making games is in desperate needs, perhaps servers that Treyarch set up themselves?

Seriously that part of the game totally ruined it. Haven't found a decent game in ages.

Worst I've done is sworn loudly / pounded fists on table or keyboard. That's very very rare though, usually I just swear. When I was 5 my uncle took his diablo 2 disc and put it on a piece of wood then axed it in half, true story.

Back when I used to play guitar hero, I got stuck on this one sone on Expert (this was a year ago so I cant remember what song) and I kept failing because the controller froze up some times. So I did what the guy on the game did and proceeded to smash it on the floor. It didnt break though, so I just threw it aside and played something else
This also happened to my cousin, he got super pissed at GH and threw it at the wall and it hit my PSP, leaving a nice big crack in the casing

Snapped a Guitar Hero controller over my knee. It was faulty anyway, which explains why I was frustrated enough to do something so silly. It worked out quite well though - I salvaged the perfectly functional strum mechanism (the internal bit, not the actual strum bar itself) and Frankenstein'd it into another guitar where the strum mechanism was faulty.

Normally it's just swearing and ragequitting brought about by the very inconsistant shotguns on gears2. Getting taken down in one shot from 6 miles away does not happen with a shotgun. you $%"^&$%%^&%"£%^%^£&"*(!""&(^£%!

When my 360 got red rings out of 5 straight working years, i went to it in the backyard... With a bat... Not a great idea...
I threw my PS2 out a window on the first floow of an apartment when i couldn't beat Riku 2 on the first KH. I had played it a good 100 times that day, each one ended in failure...

I've honestly done nothing that bad, apart from slamming controls down and stuff, but I haven't broken any or anything.

I also like yelling at people on mic if I'm annoyed, or just for fun.

Ive broken a ps2 controller playing mgs3
edit: during a really bad halo 3 game I hit my xbox (not hard but not soft either)and my xbox started making a grinding noise and it scratched up my halo 3 disc.

I've never done anything bad, actually. Not in comparison to others.

I once through a controller to the ground, though nothing broke and everything was fine and dandy.
The only thing I can really think of is that I cuss like crazy when I get mad at a game. Like every other word is a cuss word kind of bad. xD

I broke $100 worth of X-box controllers or two controllers on two separate occasions the first was meant more as a joke I was playing Nazi Zombies and right when a zombie was in my face the controller disconnected I knew I had to change the batteries but first I threw the controller in mock nerd rage. Bad idea. My basement where the console was at the time has a stone floor one of the control sticks was broken.

The second I really don't know what was going through my head, it started out as a simple social game of Halo with my friend in split-screen unfortunatly me and my friend got put on separate teams. I could not get a kill and worse my friend who was on the other team kept killig me and then bragging about it "I got a triple kill from that" etc. eventually I cracked and screamed "FUCK THIS!!" at the top of my lungs hurled the controller at the floor breaking the right trigger and rage-quit the game by turning of the console my friend left and this wasn't the first nerd rage fit he'd seen from me if we hadn't been friends since kindergarten he probaly would've ditch me as a friend upon the first one. So anyway after he left I was so frustrated by the game that I took the broken controller and hit it repeatingly with a hammer then finding I lacked the physical strength and the controller was pretty resistent, threw it out my bedroom window then went outside collected it and threw it down a storm drain.

OP, I feel your pain not only do I absoulutly suck at multiplayer FPSes but all my friends are into them and really good at them and constantly invite me to parties and then talk amongst eachother about how good at them they are. It sort of makes me enjoy the "bliss" of a broken X-box.
