I would, and I'd be totally shameless about it. I'd be naked all the time, eat like a slob, masturbate on a whim, bathe irregularly, and have sex with anyone else in the neighborhood.

Basically be the kind of person nobody wants to watch.

People deal with worse for less.

So, yes. Go ahead watch. You might want to take children and elderly out of the room viewers.

Imagine living in a small suburban neighborhood. And if you manage to live there for 1 year (you can quit whenever you want), you will win 10 million dollars. This is a closed community. You contact the outside world. You can purchase food and stuff from a controlled provider.

The catch is this is a ZERO privacy place. There are cameras and microphones EVERYWHERE, in every room of your house, even the bathrooms. All the streets and backyards are observed. The cameras are HD and equipped with night and thermal vision.

There are computers everywhere and anyone can use them to spy on any neighbor. All your spying logs are accessible to everyone meaning everybody knows what everybody is doing. You are forced to wear a small bracelet that marks you on the system.

To make it worst, this is a reality show. There is a selection of footage that is shown 2 hours a day on public television. Paying subscribers can have permanent access to all the cameras and microphones. So they can spy on you!

Remember, you have no internet or phones or any means of reaching the outside world. You can order more or less anything through controlled means. For free. So it's a nice life with no obligation and nothing to do.... except watching and being watched.

Would you agree to live there ? If you can stay for a year, you win 10 million dollars!
Deal breaker.

$10 million, and anything I want to order for free? Sounds like a sweet deal. Plus, there's nothing I do that anyone would want to watch.
My only problem is this: lack of internet.

A year of obligation free living and 10 million dollars? Hell yes! If you have that kind of money you don't have to give a damn what the little people think of you.

I'd love it. I'd just cause as much trouble as possible. Actually, that's too much work. I'd probably just game for whole 8760 hours of it. Take that and shove it up your TV set. I might chill with the people, if they're cool, but I doubt it, reality TV people strike me as stuck-up jerks. Oh yeah, and maybe this, I like that idea:

This is just one small step away from what we already have. Between computers, smart phones, CCTV and government travel monitoring (police ANPR in the UK...) anybody with a brain and a few court orders could already do what you propose. Just leave the cameras on and we could have it for free. Made you think a little about our 'free, democratic' societies?

For £10m? Sign me up.

Depends. who are the other people? can they be people I know? because it would get lonely not seeing them for a year.

I would probably do it. I don't know how long the show would go on if I were on it, but I'm sure that a year would feel like nothing if you can do anything you wanted and expect a huge payday at the end.

An easy yes. A year of free rest and relaxation that I get a million dollars at the end of? That's not even a question. Show me the dotted line. Oh sure the internet thing may be a tad annoying, but there are plenty of things I could do with a free year. I'd improve myself and end up with enough money to sustain myself for life to boot.

I'd do it actually I would probably use the time to see if I could come up with an increadibly elaborate way of ducking the cameras. And if that failed there's always games and screwing with the other people.

Umm, no. No amount of money is worth suffering through something that degrading. I like having my privacy, thank you very much.
Agreed. I'd never do this. Not even for 10 million dollars.

Definitely. That'd essentially being paid to have people watch me live. Oh I'm sorry, am I supposed to mind people being able to see me shower, shit, and jerk off? To those viewers I pose the question: do you care so much to see that? Man, I would watch that show once and then go back to watching hockey and Doctor Who exclusively. Sure, watch me do what everyone else does for a year, I really dont care. But then make a show where everyone watches me swim in 10 million dollars for an hour.

Glad to see at least one other poster agrees with me. I'm honestly quite surprised that 85% of people in the poll would be willing to go along with this.

That totally calls for an orgy at least 2x a week.
I was gunna go with masturbating continuously but this works too.

I could do it. Give me a few dozen cases of Sam Adam's, any food I want, and all the video games I need and the time would fly by.
