Poll: Would accept to live in this village/reality show for a year for 10 million $

I love how there are comments about dignity floating around on here.

You can be perfectly dignified whilst on camera waiting for ten million dollars.
You can still be dignified while doing it naked.
You can even be dignified BECAUSE you're doing it naked. That just shows that your character is strong enough to not give two-shits about having no privacy.
If you've nothing to hide, or don't care if anything is revealed about you, then your dignity remains intact.

That having been said, it wouldn't take half a heartbeat for me to accept, because ten million dollars is ten million dollars, and I get it for doing whatever it is I do on any regular day.

I would, however, ask for a few thousand dollars in advance so that I could purchase a big ass T.V and loads of offline games to occupy my time, as well as stock a good sized library, because I'm a massive fan of reading.
I'm aware that I can get anything for free, but I'm too impatient to wait for them to go and get it, so I'd want it in advance.
Either that, or I'd request that I be allowed to go skydiving, luging, rock-climbing or what-have-you as long as a camera crew is present, because that would not only be VASTLY more fun, but also more interesting for those watching at home.

i thnk it would be harder for a shorter amount of time. Make it like 2-6 months and it wouldn't be something worth getting used to and would remain uncomfortable for the entire duration as opposed to a year were after the first month you've figured out ways to entertain yourself and just keep doing that.

Then (when i was single) - Sure no problem, i wouldn't even mind having sex in front of the camera for all to see. especially if drunk. I dunno, no internet would suck, sadly internet is a large part of daily life and entertainment. I guess all i would ask for is a large selection of movies and eventually i'd try to make enough friends so that we could play a decent baseball game. Two things, if there were more than one of those stupid challenge things a month, you know the eat bugs, do something painful, win some sort of mini compitition to get some sort of points, i would quit, i hate those. Also are you in total isolation or just in a closed community with other players. and if it's with other players do we each get our own house or are we all suppose to stay in one big house together? the one big house is what generates the drama on say "real life" or "big brother", but if all get our own houses then no problem.

Now (married) - No, i couldn't be away from my family for that long, i would miss my children too much. i would miss my wife too much (and the sex we have >.> ...). And i wouldn't allow my children to be on a show where they could and will be under constant surveilance.

This is a cake walk. If a bunch of pervy people want to watch thermal images of me going to the bathroom and showering then so be it. I have no problem giving up my privacy for a year, being given food and lodging AND being paid handsomely for it.

For 10 mill? course I would. I don't care how souless and degrading it is... your set for life after that. Even peeps who have a reasonably high paying job don't get much over 30 - 40 grand a year. Thats a full 10 mill... for what exactly? sacrificing my privacy for a full year. That audience at home can happily enjoy being bored to shite watching me while I walk away with 10 mill at the end of it.

Also make it in GBP and you've got a deal...

Though it would make for some awesome TV. Because it would then be the equivilant of everyone putting there hand on a car. last one with their hand on gets it.

instead you start with 1000 contestants. And you actively try to make it so others would leave. Cut their power during winter in order to make them cold.

I'd go for it. Pretty much anything I want, for free? I have expensive hobbies, and this would make indulging them a breeze! And hell, I'd go ahead and try to make things interesting for the nice viewing public. Organizing a fight club, maybe.

No, I would most definitely break under the pressure and murder the entire community or something crazy like that. I have issues with social anxiety in normal settings where other people pay attention to me, if everything I did was being observed I wouldn't be able to take it.
