I asked my brother this question the other day and he said hell yes, even though he pays for Xbox Live. I would never, but then again i'm not a huge COD fan.

Subscription models are bad, mmkay.

Especially if you have to buy the client as well as pay the fee.

Maybe if I got it when it first came out so I could play it with mates. But even then I would probably cancel it after 1 month.

Sorry, I'm a fan of the series and all, but I simply wouldn't. Not for an FPS.

I enjoy shooting people anonymously over the internet as much as the next guy, but I would not pay a subscription on top of the $60 I just paid for the game.

I love Call of Duty, but i would not pay for it unless it had many, MANY more maps, game modes, weapons, and customization options.

Oh and larger maps.
And better hit detection .... >.>

Maybe, everything depends on the content, updates and so on. But i believe they would have to change the the game abit for a subscription fee to be in order.

I wouldn't, that's for sure. But that says very little as I wouldn't play it unless someone paid me to play it.

But I imagine that enough people are silly enough to do it, so I guess it will happen sooner or later. I mean there are plenty of silly people paying for crap in TF2, so why not pay to play CoD?

If they implemented one on any of their current games, they should have their asses sued off for changing the terms of service in their licensing agreement.

Also, no.

Call of Duty is the only series that gets away with the full RRP of 44.99 and 1200MS point maps. A subscription model would totally kill it.

Maybe a small amount for zombies, but while Battlefield or other fps such as Homefront are still free then I wouldn't even consider it. Why pay for something when you can get more or less the same thing for free.

Unfortunately yes, people would.

I would not, however.
Besides, CoD just keeps getting worse. I've now sided with Battlefield, like I should have years ago.
