No.
If they are going to die "randomly" in 30 seconds they were probably a long term smoker...or some criminal...
Had it coming.

So is the other person. I guess I merely assumed that you would prize your life over that of an 'equals', and only give your life for a 'better'.
TO be completely honest, I didn't and wouldn't even take that into account. I mean, honestly, who am I to judge?

Hell no.

How do I know that this Stranger isn't some evil Puppy-torturing Neo-Nazi Rapist? They can go ahead and die as far as I'm concerned, 'cause I'm not gonna risk saving the life of who could possibly be the Devil-Incarnate.

Depends on the stranger's age and health conditions, among other things. I'm not going to make any great shakes in this lifetime, but I want the person I save to at least be capable of doing so.

I would probably go a stop whatevers going to kill the person without me getting killed. Unless it's an natural disaster or air or space craft crash.

Fuck no, unless, as people have said, they're gonna' cure cancer or AIDS or something, it's my life, I'm not gonna get another one so why would I throw it away to save a stranger?

If the stranger was like a kid or something. Even then, who knows? I might chicken out.

No, of course not. Why the hell would I? Why would I assume their life is more important than my own, or they are more deserving of theirs than mine? Even if we were equal, there's no reason I would do such a thing unless I was suicidal anyway, which I'm not.

I can't imagine the reasoning that would make someone give up their life for that of a complete stranger.

No probably not, I have no reason to give up my life for someone I don't know.

I cannot stand by and watch somebody die knowing that I can save that very person's life, the guilt would make me wish to rather die anyways.
