That depends on how philosophical you want to get. Are you asking us if we would be friends with ourselves based upon the way we act or based upon our own, personal knowledge of ourselves?

If I met someone like myself I would either like them or hate them depending on how I met them and the context. That seems to go for pretty much everyone I meet, under the right circumstance my humour and nature might come across as a positive but under the wrong context I can appear to be extremely hostile and blunt.

If I met myself, knowing how I think and what I was like I wouldn't be friends with the other me because technically they are just me in an identical body. My opinion of them would be exactly the same as the opinion I have of myself.
Ah, thanks for pointing this out as I forgot to clarify that aspect and have no edited to do so. It would be based upon the way you act. Barring the complete and total randomness of circumstance of course. Even in favorable situations, there are just some individuals who you will not be able to get along with. Would you, in a favorable circumstance, be friends with yourself. Would you find yourself someone you can get along with?

Not in a way where you know the very inner workings of your mind, as most everyone would probably shy away from everyone else if they knew the depths of each other's mind.
In which case, I guess I would. I have many faults but am loyal, generous and can make people laugh so as a friend I am not all that bad really. Although my voice would annoy me.

Maybe, I don't get out enough and in general, I'm not very proactive socially - so unless we really clicked through the internet, I doubt it.

Oooo. Two of me would be a dangerous combo. On the other hand I could use an extra animator.
Oh crap, now THAT would make for some interesting content. I'd truly be frightened to see what you would come up with by bouncing your ideas off of yourself in a Cuddles, erm sorry, Mr. Biscuits, induced brainstorm!

Hmmm...I'd probably end up pissing myself most of the time, but since me and me is just so compatible, I would be my friend.

Absolutely not.

It's a wonder anyone likes me anyway, I'm negative, sarcastic, I take everything literally, not especially bright, not much to look at and I'm not much of a communicator in fact if there were two of me we'd probably never communicate cause we would both prefer solitary existence. Adding someone else to the people who potentially hate me behind my back list is avoided at all costs.

I'm terrible at meeting people, so I probably would never find out that we were similar.

I'd probably be annoying to be honest... I do tend to make good friends with people. I mean, I annoy my friends by being a smartarse and arrogant about my intelligence and not thinking before I say things, yet the fact I'm still close with some incredibly nice people shows that I musn't be too bad a person... but friends with myself? Maybe... but probably not good friends. Just acquitances. Knowing that though, I'm not going to change who I am, I like who I am and wouldn't know how to be anything else. I guess I'm just lucky that I have such good friends... I want to stay in touch with them after uni...

Hold on let me go check, goes to a nearby mirror.

Myself to the mirror: "Would you be my friend"?

My reflection: "Yeah sure, no problem".

Yep I'm ok with being friends with myself.

Wait a minute did my reflection just speak to me? 0.o

I would probably annoy the carp out of me if I wasn't boring myself to death.

Judging by how me and mum get along, probably not. While we get along when we're in good moods it usually always end up WW3. We don't hate each other, we're just too much alike that it drives us crazy.
