If there is such a thing as reincarnation I wouldn't mind having the next go be as a woman.

But a transformation here and now? Nah, I think I'd pass honestly. I have enough trouble coming to terms with myself as just the one gender. Too many personal hang ups as it is to make anything good out of it, regardless of duration.

So here is the hypothetical supernatural situation of today. You find an oil lamp and rub it. A genie appears and offers you a reward for breaking an ancient curse and setting him free. Unfortunately the genies powers are very limited and he can only change your gender. However no one around you would notice and will treat you as if you have always been a man/woman. And you have a period of 1 month to go back and tell him you changed your mind.

Personally I would say no. Although it would be an "interesting" experience the downsides are just to big for me. Peeing while standing up would be impossible plus I would have to deal with menstruation and possibly giving birth to a child. Neither of which I have experienced but don't seem very pleasant.

So would you accept his offer?

Well. I'm going to go with Male: Temporary. I'd love to give the female body a test drive. In fact, what I'd really love is to find a second lamp, with another genie, so I could wish for him to modify the other genie's powers so that I could transform between the two at will (obviously with this version I wouldn't need people to be unaware of my previous gender, being able to change at will means I can change when no one is around). Maybe the second genie could just grant my wish for unrestricted genderswapping and I can tell someone else about the first lamp.

If I have the power to change at whim, I can experience the best that both bodies have to offer. This is of course assuming the changing one's physical body doesn't also change one's mind. I'd expect that it does, but at this point in time I doubt we could really test that.

I moved in with a woman about a year ago. I've since learned how insanely expensive being a girl actually is. Leaving aside all the issues of being a woman in this world, the cost of feminine care products and make-up alone are enough to turn me off being one.

I honestly can't see the appeal. I was born and raised a male. That's how I think, how I identify, how I live!
I can understand some people who are hormonally imbalanced or physically malformed want the option to change. Good! Great!
But I will never understand the stable, emotionally/physically sound individuals saying "Oh, only temporary!"

Seriously that would be a whole month taking exploitative pictures of a hot (I'd be hot, right? RIGHT?) chick who would cease to exist after that month! Just y'know the pics should stay on my hard drive.

If we go real deep into this, it would be very interesting to see the reality in which I am a daughter and a sister instead of the opposite. Just hopefully not straight this time. Could be an awkward month for the boyfriend.

If nothing else I'd be curious to see how my experiences, emotions, confidence and such differ both socially and sexually. It'd be a great opportunity.

Whether or not I'd change back would depend entirely on the experience.
