Normal would be heterosexual, as it is by far and away the most common sexual orientation. Being hetero is the norm, calling it so doesn't imply that homosexuals are wrong, only that they are unusual.

OT: I'm a straight man, and the one reason I would never change to gay is the fact that being a gay person saying straight jokes just doesn't work. My real life is based off penis jokes.

Science can alter my brain chemistry in such a way that I would fancy an entirely different set of people? I don't think with such a runaround I would be quite the same person anymore, and would reject it on those grounds alone even if I did want to make a switch. I don't though, I'm perfectly content how I am.

Sorry to double post.
I'd say there is no hetro or bisexual, sexuality is more of a spectrum. Plus, who I find attractive and who I would have sex with does not fall into the same category, but I don't know if that's common or not. I don't believe it when people say they are straight or gay, I just think society kind of wants to push people into one or the other, I think preferences more than whole sexualities.

It's an interesting viewpoint indeed, though I can safely say that I've never felt attracted to a male. I've look at a guy and thought "Wow, he must be popular with the ladies" but it's merely an observation. On the otherhand I'm always thinking about how attractive women are so it seems quite contrasting if you ask me. It's a fascinating perspective however.

Also wanted to add that I am still reading everyone's posts even if I haven't commented, if you have posted it has been read.

EDIT: I didn't notice that Asexual was on the poll. I would probably take that instead, simply because it would make my life a shit-load less complicated.
