I dunno. I come here from time to time...

*sips on beer*

As for being recognized, you tell me. I've had my avatar since 2010 so I guess that helps...

1. yes and no

2. yes

I am indeed a regular visitor and poster on these forums. Although I'll never come close to competing with some of the people here, its a rare day I do not make some contribution.

When it comes to recognition, I know I am recognized by some around here, most of them regulars of the R&P section. But I do not know whether or not that recognition is widespread enough to count in terms of the OP's question.

1. I don't think I'm recognised on the site, maybe by a handful of users, but that's about it.

2. I'm not as active as I used to be. I don't post in the forums or my user groups anywhere near as much as I used to, however, I am on the site everyday looking at the news posts and stuff.

No and no.

I am a regular lurker, though.

Cookies are alright, but I think you could do better as far as world-dominating pastries. Tactical doughnut strikes are both deadly and delicious.

I'd consider myself a regular, but I have no recognition or reputation (that I am aware of) and I kind of like that.

I've been on here almost every day this year and for most of last year, if that doesn't count as being a regular what will?

I'm probably not well known as my avatar changes every few months and I don't post often enough to really make myself noticed. I do, however, consider myself an active member. While I don't post too often, I do make a point of visiting the forums a number of times a day.

I'm here every day; sometimes I say things, people don't tend to care, because the things I have to say aren't particularly well-informed or divisive.

Cookies and doughnuts aren't pastries, silly. You're looking for danishes and strudels and things.

Recognized members: Not even close. I post too few and I have not one thread in my name. It would take quite a bit to get myself any sort of recognition.

Regular poster: Again, post so little so no.

Regular to the website (aka Lurk about): Oh yes, I have seen so many thread fads come and go on this site. Many shows and a few comics have gone with me simple looking on. So many forum posters rising up and falling back down. As such, I will continue to watch from the shadows on all that goes on in this land, waiting for something.

No I'm not well known, because I don't post too much. It's your loss Escapist, because I'm really edgy and cool, just ask all of your respective mothers.

1. I dunno if anyone recognizes me or not, I know I don't post a ton, but I almost always end up getting quoted, and I'm pretty sure people recognize me by my name, and the fact that I got a lil 8-bit slime avatar, (most of the time, changed it to remember one of the fallen(banned) who's on my friends list(and I still chat on steam with) and even though that avatar is one of the default ones, it's not used by anyone else as far as I can tell... That and I'm a goddamn dinosaur on here compared to a lot of the crowd.

2. I'm an active lurker, who posts wherever he sees a thread/post that he can adequately respond to, either for an explanatory post, or to expand on an argument by injecting my viewpoint, or linking some information or something.

But yeah, if you recognize me kudos, if not, I don't mind, it's a big forum with a lot of people, I don't expect to be famous or anything, I work a lot, and even though I'm on here every day at least once, I don't post often enough to expect any kind of fame/infamy.

Yeah.
I post in the gaming and off-topic forums at least once on a daily/bi-daily basis so I'd wager it's safe to call myself a regular.

Am I a recognized poster? Dear GOD, no. I'm mainly a lurker

Am I a regular? Yep! I generally have a tab open up here so I can take a look at what's going on.

1. I doubt I would be recognizable, although I was active I was never active enough to garner any sort of recognition.

2. I used to be active many long years ago. Now I am but a mere lurker, perusing whatever threads are pulled forth from the void and occasionally gracing them with my wisdom.

Recognised? No

Active? Depends on your definition. I don't post much, but I've been lurking fairly actively for a while now.

1. I'd hope, I'm one of the few who's been here since 2008 and still regularly posts. You young whippersnappers and your 2009/10/11! Back in my day we... *grumbles something about oatmeal*

2. Not as such recently. I don't have any proper Internet until the 12th (read: using someone else's WiFi on my mums laptop because mine is a bag of shit and can barely pick up a wireless signal in the same house. A lot of people use this laptop too) I don't get to post much any more. My phones a bit crap for posting too.
I see some shits gone down and jimmies have been rustled in my absence though!

1.) Yes and no. I'm somewhat well recognized in places like the MLP group here on the Escapist, but at the same time... well, I'm no Daystar Clayton, that's for sure.

2.) Most definitely. While I may not post constantly, this place is pretty much my internet equivalent of a home away from home, to the point that I'll just lurk here when I'm bored and have nothing else to do... even if I'm already bored from there being nothing for me to do here. So yeah! Active? You better believe I'm active.
