Poll: Would you date a girl just to annoy your parents?

If I dated a girl my parents hated they would just laugh and take the piss out of whatever was wrong with her.

Can't think of anything I could date that would annoy them, but I can see them laughing, just as I would.

So no, I'm trying to think of a way I could date someone as a joke to try and make them laugh, but it would always be hard to explain it's a joke and I'm not actually serious about them.

My parents have good sense and if they don't like the girl there's probably a valid reason for it. I wouldn't do something specifically to annoy my parents.

For all those that said they would, would you like it if you found out that the loving relationship you thought you were in turned out to be a joke to the other person? Just to annoy people? And it never should be ANY parent's business, once the child is past the age of 18 and officially an adult in most terms. Unless the kid has serious mental problems and is under the parent's direct care.

I was expecting you to be one of these pity seeking individuals who complain about your parents being so controlling and so you rebel to get back at them. But you specifically state that your mother doesn't try to control who you date. How do you repay her? By deliberately trying to provoke a negative reaction out of her.
