Speaking as a New Zealander, I wouldn't come anytime soon, our Government has no money.

Carbon tax would fix that up... sorry couldn't resist that.

O/T yeah I would move pretty quick. Stands to reason that if gaming goes a few other things may soon follow suit. Actually knowing the Australian government if gaming proves to be an addiction (in their eyes) then it may be subject to plain packaging :-O

Edit: Also there seems to be many Australians on this thread are we all worried about something perhaps?

I would stay. Maybe read more books? Anyway, I think it would be highly unlikely they woud be able to ban all games. I'd still be able to find a few flash games online.

I'd go to Canada, its not that far of a drive, they have Olympics now and most speak English, its like going to a slightly lessened different named USA.

Well everything compared to other places, Average person makes 289 ? a month and prices for food, etc are insane, if i'll want to get my own place i'll have to work abroad anyway, i just doubt that i will bother coming back.

That's a shame, do you have any awesome deals with other countries (like being able to travel freely within EU nations if you're from a member nation) that will make leaving (and staying out) easy for you?

I would pirate games if there was no way to get them otherwise, assuming that steam wouldn't sell me games anymore. And if i moved then it wouldn't be just because of gaming, my country already sucks balls and that would be just another nail in the coffin.
