A lot of people find newfound freedom in adulthood and decide they never want children, only to make some on accident... I, on the other hand, wanted to fuck around until I found a girl I could "love", marry, et cetera... then when I was about 24 I realized I wanted no part of a Hollywood-inspired romance... that I just loved the sex, and wanted nothing to do with procreation or child-rearing. My opinion remains there six years later, and I don't forsee it changing.

Yes, we're actually trying right now (no, not THAT much right now) We recently got our funding together to unsure a good future which is about 25000, We got together like 9 years ago and started putting money towards a funding for at the time a undecided purpose which was about 50% of both our incomes and I have lately gotten quite a few projects which got me a lot of money. It's probably not gonna supply for his/her total costs but atleast we can be sure we can support him'her for a long time no matter what.

If you think kids are boring and not for you, then I'm afraid you're actually the butt of the joke here. See, kids past the diaper age are crazy fun with their absurd behaviour and morality. Your parents had you just so they could laugh at... with you. And they are also great company, since nowadays they sit at their pc in your basement until they're 30.
Ha, this is so true, my younger sister does some of cutest and craziest things imaginable and her morality and world view is... interesting, to say the least. I'm sure the majority of people who say that kids bore them either haven't had the chance to be around them much or doesn't know how to interact with them.

Plan to have kids maybe 2ish years after I get married. So 'bout 3 years from now.

And given my soon to be wife's stance on it, even if for some reason unforeseen we can't have kids, we will be adopting.

I used to think having kids was horrible and I'd never, ever do it... ever.

Come 2009 where I'm actually pushing a human being out of me.

It's the best thing ever, but I very highly doubt I'd ever have anymore.

I already have 2, I definitely want to have another 2. I love being a parent, it's something I've always wanted.

there really should be a law against bringing children on public transportations.
That's a little harsh, don't you think? :| My kids are very well behaved when we take public transportation.

I never really thought about it, but i'm hoping to study medicine at University so that's a five year course, and after that being a doctor doesn't really leave all that much time free for finding a girlfriend (assuming I could), let alone having kids. On top of that that, I have zero fatherly traits so I seriously doubt it, but who knows.

I've always thought of babies as chest-bursters that, instead of just killing you immediately, slowly drain your life, as well as your freedom, energy, time, and ability to feel joy, away over a period of 18 years, at which point they abandon you in your soulless, deprived state of near-death until they reappear without warning and ask for money and if it'd be cool if they could crash on the couch for a couple days, please.

So for some reason I get the feeling that I wouldn't be the world's greatest dad.

I'm a bad person. My children would probably grow up to be f-cked up... so meh, no. But who knows...

I plan to have children with Tom someday. But first we both need to be financially stable and all that jazz. :3

Yup, 2 kids ideally but an absolute max of 3 if my future wife wants more.
BUT there's a lot of things I'd like to do before kids. I'd like to become a parent maybe around 28-30

Hitting 30 this year, and I'm still content with the "no" choice I made a long time ago. Plenty of reasons I use when people demand justification, but simply put, I don't want em.

I have no intention of ever becoming a parent. I can't stand children. My cousin came over about two months ago and brought her two kids with her. The two kids annoyed me greatly. They kept asking if they could use my x-box 360 even when I told them no.
