Yes, I'm planning on getting a triquetra or a celtic knot. I just need to work up the courage and the money!

When I save up enough some cash, Im getting a tribal style thing on my right forearm and dragon wings with a pentagram in the middle on my left shoulder. (Pic)

But im pretty much broke atm, so not luck there.
You might want to get that tweaked a bit. I didn't realize they were supposed to be dragon wings until I read what you wrote. I thought it was just a pentagram in some sort of coat of arms.

Yeah i probably will.

So long as it's tastefull and fairly age defying (i mean something that will look pretty cool no matter how old you are) i don't see any problem with getting tattoos. Also, so long as it's somewhere inconspicuous.

I'm the kind of person who says "Don't just get a tattoo to get a tattoo. Get a tattoo that means something."

I am going to get an ivy branch (is it called a branch?) instead of a wedding ring. One leaf to signify each important person in my life.

I am also getting one on my inner arm just above my wrist. Celtic runics symbolizing "courage, wisdom, and strength" the three most important attributes to have in life.

I want the chains from Bioshock on my wrists. They have a deep, complex, and personal meaning that will not wear off as I age. Plus they also reveal to those who know my love of video games.

No, simply because I can't think of one person with a tatoo that makes me think: "that person has class and sophistication".
Also I intend to grow old and it's not a flattering thing to have a wrinkly bag of ink of your skin when you're 80.

I've wanted sleeves since I was about 10, but I'm really _really_ picky about what to actually get. I've been thinking along the lines of art neuveau or art deco, because they're my favourite periods of art/architecture. Water lillies or something, in a nice flowing composition.

Colour. Definiately colour.

Certainly. And I'm getting my first in couple of months, as I got a gift certificate to a tattoo shop. I've always wanted tattoos and I've had my first ideas, that I'll probably execute too, about 8 years ago.

Tribal-style tattoos, chinese signs, bar codes (a lot of tattooists will straight-up disagree to even do those), dragons, butterflies, skulls, pentagrams... I won't be getting anything that unoriginal though. Neither anything related to a game/band or a commercial brand. That's for sure.

I have few good ideas, but I've not yet settled what I'm getting first. Also if and how I'd join them.

I'd want to get one at some point although momentarily I have an aversion to pain and monetary loss, maybe someday though.
