aww only 75-100 points? If I became smart enough I could cure the autism(spelling?) that I got when I chose to give up my feelings.

Depends on how high the higher understanding is. I probably wouldn't give up my emotions to know the exact amount of time I should keep my bread in toaster so that it tastes its very best.

emotions form as a distraction and give you morals (without morals we might have become more advanced due to human testing but it would be immoral)
I wouldn't do it I don,t want to become boring

Well, I don't think all that much good comes from emotions in any case, and I'm already callous (well, sort of), so yeah. What would have been better would be if other people stopped relying on their emotions instead though. It's annoying.

why would a lack of emotions make you smarter?
If a person is completely without emotion, then said person can look at everything from a completely objective standpoint with no internal bias other than personal experience. In a stressful situation, a battlefield for example, a soldier without emotion could follow orders with little to no hesitation induced by fear. With no emotion, risk of PTSD would be drastically reduced, if not completely eliminated.

Scientists would be able to develop all sorts of new and unique technologies with no moral restrictions other than the ones imposed on them by society. Judges and juries could deliberate on cases more objectively, without any personal feelings clouding their judgment.

tl;dr - I don't think they would make a person 'smarter', but more able to focus their intelligence.

Want is an entirely emotional concept, so it's a ridiculous idea. Because as soon as you get what you want you don't care anymore.

No, I'm logical enough already and I can learn whatever I want to know, if I were to kill any more of my emotions I would end up a vulcan.
and no, that's not cool

It would kind of be like being autistic wouldn't it?

You could become a genius...but you're still autistic....
Implying autistic people have no emotions?
I've met genius kids with Autism who didn't react with emotions the same way non-autistic people did, or they had none at all.

That's because they can't read emotions the same way we do.
Or they read to much and stop (averting eyes) because it overwhelms them.

They have emotions, they just have a hard time reading and portraying them.
