Um....

he still has a penis, so no.

There's only one man I'd turn gay for, and it's him:
I can't say I like Dr. Who but at least that one seems far preferable to the new one, at least in terms of someone that you could stand to look at were you to go (or already be, in the case of some) gay for them. Accents can be sexy so long as you can actually understand anything they say.

Drag though, yikes, very much not for everyone. Sometimes all you want is a man that actually looks like one, even if the parts are technically correct. It's true that gender's just a life-long performance that we're taught to give without thinking, and that pink used to be a very manly colour, and that something like a kilt can be totally masculine in the right context...but curly, frilly, make up and pearls...

No thanks.

Ever seen The Crying Game?
Wasn't that something to do with the IRA?
Yes... I'd say go watch it, but the topic of this thread pretty much gives away the twist.

I find the whole topic kinda humorous. The OP treats the issue as if transvestites are a new Japanese fad... They've been around forever. Plenty look like guys in drag, but there are plenty out there that you'd never know.

Ever seen The Crying Game?
I know they've been around forever, but Ive never seen a good looking cross dresser.

And no Ive never seen this crying game I dont spend much time online or watch much TV.

Plenty of tv shows have featured transvestites that were hard to detect as men; in fact, it become much more popular a plot twist after The Crying Game came out. Heck, even CSI did an episode on transvestites and transsexuals. I think there was even some news show like 20/20 that did an episode on pre-op transsexuals where it was practically impossible to tell in some cases. Much more so than the guy in the clip.

No.

Hetrosexuality has served me fine the last 16 years, it will serve me well for the rest of my life.

I would never date a guy who looked like a girl. I don't think I could stand it to date a guy who was prettier than me. I mean, seriously. If he would looked better in a dress than me, it's a no-go. I just can't do it.

There's a guy who used to go to my high school who is pretty much as man as they come. He's a, "dreamboat" as girls used to say. I'd probably go gay if he asked. I mean... ultimate man right there. He can impregnate a woman with a glance...

Poor choice of answers in that poll there, mate. It disregards the possibility of anyone being gay or bisexual beforehand. Actually, it seems to disregard bisexuality on a whole. Sexuality isn't necessarily an either/or, you know.

I'm in a nice relationship with a girl; but if I was single, sure, I'd "go gay", as you put it, for this person.

Also, I thought this thread would be Bill Kaulitz.
Same.
OT: No, not really. As others have said, I'd have never noticed s/he was a cross dresser, but there's a certain boundary that has to be passed with those sort of things and currently it's just not a boundary that pushes my buttons until the internet further corrupts me.

I'd have a more feminine picture but there's no thread on it currently, so google images.

I used to a female friend who was really into Tokio Hotel, read lots of, urm, fan fiction of the Kaulitz twins. Now she's into Muse, fanfiction of Matt and Dom now.

That was completely Off-Topic.

I wonder how you'd notice? I mean, what can you say once it's out? "Sorry, suddenly changed my mind, bye."

I don't think I would. Not a real pretty man, if you get my meaning. He would make a good girl, but as a guy, looking like that would be just weird.

Well no. Going gay for someone like that is hardly a challenge, because he looks like a woman. A scary and unnattractive woman, at that.

Going gay means going gay for a MAN. RAAWWRRRR.

I kinda see his dude-features. And his voice would be a turn-off.

So sadly, I would not.

Besides, if I'm going gay for anyone, it's Edward Norton.

EDIT: Actually, you don't go gay for him if you date him.

See, you date him because he looks like a girl. Therefore you are still not attracted to men, therefore you are not homosexual.

The purpose with asking "Would you go gay for x?" is to see if there is a type of male sexiness that is attractive to you (or female sexiness if you're a woman), like for example Edward Norton fighting without his shirt in Fight Club. It's not about looking like a woman, it's about being attracted by a distinct male feature.
Right, and therefore it would be gay to like Brad Pitt for his manly pecks in Fight Club? ...am I... gay?!
