Poll: Would you hate it if games LOOKED like real life?

Sure, it could be cool. But i wouldn't want all games to look real. PLus it just wouldn't work with some.

Bleh, I play games to escape reality. Making them look completely like real life would just seem counterproductive to me. Zany cartoon effects add a nice amount of charm to some games. Plus I'm sure things would plunge straight down into the Uncanny Valley a little more often with games that looked like real life. I don't think I would ever be able to play a Nintendo game as well if they had real life graphics. Boos, Redeads, tingle, etc. would end up freaking the heck out of me. Oh, and especially Pokemon. Pokemon would look really weird and creepy in real life.

I wouldn't complain as long as a healthy portion of games kept an unrealistic or cartoony style. I tend to find those games more visually engaging.
