Based on the murder record for both sides, I'll side with Satan, who's killed far, far less people.

Don't believe me? You DARE not fucking believe me!?

Does the irony behind this occur to anyone? Christians or for the most part fundamentalists and heretic christians always encourage you to (and by that I mean scold you if you don't) to believe in Christianity but these people are scolding you because you DO. I just want to make it abundantly clear that Atheists can be heretics too.

This question seems irrelevant to non-christians, and christians who don't take this issue very seriously.

Anyone who recognizes the existence of the devil (I don't) would NEVER consider joining him. It's INSANE.

Yeah, lets fight for the very essence of evil against an omnipotent being who can wipe you from existence and send you to eternal torment with a mere thought?

yeah.

I would side with Jesus in a heart beat. Nothing good can come from the Devil, for his offerings always come at a price. You'll be lucky if it is based on a worldly matter, because in most cases it involves selling your soul. I value my soul and wouldn't ever see myself working under someone so evil to be known as "The Prince of Darkness".

Besides- (This is me being a Christian) Jesus died on the cross for our sins. I owe him my life after the next, so I would side with him even if I wasn't Christian because he is a very noble, holy man. No offense to anyone just this is my honest opinion. Glad this Thread was brought up, because in school I usually am to busy to even have thoughts or free time at all Haha.. *sigh*.
Well said.

Anyway, I'm Christian, so I obviously choose Jesus.

This poses an interesting question. Suppose that when lucifer revolted, he wasn't cast away. Suppose Lucifer was triumphant, and god was sent down to hell. Meanwhile, Lucifer, the guy in power, has humans write the bible. The real benevolent god is actually down in hell, as the "devil," and the devil is in the sky, pretending to be a real god, and claiming benevolence while causing the evil in the world. Notice how the devil never kills anybody, but the man in heaven has supposedly killed the entire human population and then some.

Actually, screw it. I'll take whichever one gives me weed and virgins.

The devil is the lesser of two evils, not to mention that dude knows how to party! God is soooo prudish and all those religious preatchers in heaven make for lame parties.

Fun fact. Not everyone lives in the same time zone as you.

On topic : I voted Devil, because, frankly satanism holds a lot more relevance to me than Christianity. Not that either exist of course. Not a thread to be taken seriously, in my books.

God killed people who deserved it. After all, He is God, and God is perfect.

The reason Satan can't kill people at will is because God won't let him; Satan is (obviously) not perfect, so he wouldn't be just in his killings.

However, what Satan can do is play tricks on people's minds by tempting them to commit sin. So with that included, Satan's kill count is much higher than you think.

I think it's irrelevant to christians who take it seriously, how many serious christians do you know that what to fight with satan against god? Seems to me like its more relevant if you think its fictional, like would you be a jedi or a sith, you don't have to believe there real to pick a side.

Unless I'm the ultimate badass I don't really have a choice if the devil's in my room, now do I? Even if I tried to refuse, he's the master of lies and seduction, I don't think my brain was built for this kind of shit. Not to mention his mere presence already kinda proves Jesus fucked up with this "saving" stuff.

If I was a "Heaven doesn't want me and hell's afraid I'll take over" badass, I'll probably ask him if that last beating wasn't enough and when Jesus and he will FINALLY leave me alone and enjoy myself.

But we all know that's never gonna happen, so why argue about this?
Satan's not gonna pop up as long as he's stuck in the frozen lake in the middle of hell (not to mention hell is traditionally not Mordor, but a kind of prison where everything bad ends up - doesn't mean they can do what they want, that would question Mr. God's authority, sir).
