Hell no! I know whereever I end up, it won't be as good as sitting with a toga. And since you didn't specify whether we can talk to eachother or not, I'll just socialize for the rest of my afterlife!

I would jump if I couldn't have sex in the room, or at the very least knock one out....

yeah, I'd jump, eventually. I'd probably hang around that room for a while first, though, talking to the other people there. I don't think I'd be able to do it forever, but I do like listening to people talk about their lives.

Eternal falling beats eternal boredom. I think I've lived a good life, so there's always the chance that eternal bliss awaits me ^^

I would contemplate it for a long while, worry a lot, things like that. Then I'd try to jump in the hole with at least a few others at the same time. That way I'd have someone to talk to during the eternal free fall.

Trust me, you'd have to be a serial killer to go into eternal darkness.

Well i could spend my time stealing togas to make the ultimate toga, and pronounce myself lord of all togas in the afterlife.
Hmm pushing other people in sounds fun also.

but... id jump, judging from the above it would not lead to a favorable outcome, but hell i regret nothing, even if what i did in my life was described as evil it was still my choice and i stand by it. (at least this is my current opinion)

Yep. I'd jump.

Interesting analogy/allegory of purgatory, by the way.

I've broadly led a pretty 'good' life, in my own humble opinion. Just in case I'd take time to think of any wrongs I've done and seek to make my pennance first. Then...

GERANIMO!!!

(sitting in a room full of dirty toga wearing flok for all eternity, that can't be good.)

Edit: If I find myself in a purgatory scenario, well, I MUST be there for a reason. Best be at home with that and accept your faults as a human being. Otherwise, I assume you jump in desperation... after a week or so of falling, I'm pretty sure you'd be bored.

Well, I'd have a go at finding how the hell we got in there.

Try to get to know the other occupants for a bit to see what can be made of the background of the jumpers who are absorbed vs those who keep falling... and if they sort of match the way I've tried to live my life (one prime commandment: don't be an asshole), I may hop in once I get bored.

Besides, I can swim.

I will definitely take the jump. Maybe I might just stay in the room for a while to gather my thoughts and think of whether I actually led a good life or not. Perhaps, I could speak with the others in the room and get to know them. Then I wait for my friends and family to enter the room, we'd jump altogether.

Now that I think about it, staying in the room might be interesting. I could change it into some sort of bar or lounge or something. Welcoming others who are newcomers, explain what they're doing here and share stories with each other. No doubt the room will be huge if someone dies everyday.

If I manage to be taken to eternal bliss, good for me. But if I am falling, I might as well fall with style.

Considering that people are dying all the time, the room must be pretty large (assuming that EVERYONE who dies enters the room). And since people are dying all the time, it might be interesting meeting all the new people. I don't think the room would be all the bad
