Poll: Would you kill your best friend to save yourself?

I was just watching some old show and in it the protagonist was given the choice to die or kill his best friend and he ended up killing himself to save his friend. This got me thinking that if someone had you and your friend prisoner and offered to let you go if you killed your friend but if you didn't do it you would die would you do it? Honestly as much as I love my friends I'm too scared of dying to really face it.

I probably wouldn't. I don't have it in me to kill someone else.

Then again, it's kind of like self defence, isn't it? Thinking in that sense, I might. Probably still wouldn't, but I'd consider it.

If it was my BEST friend... then I could never, never kill them. There aren't many friends like that for me though, so it could end up going the other way...

I couldn't make that decision. I wouldnt put myself in the situation, And i'd use my stunning powers of seduction Persuasion to get out of the situation.

I would never kill my best friend to save myself. She means everything to me, plus she has much more to live for. I would die for her.

I choose a clear conscious over a guilt ridden one any day so I'd sacrifice myself
of course hopefully my death would be quick and not delayed I mean you'd have to include that in your decision making

No, never. Even if I make myself think 100% selfishly, I still wouldn't because I know that if I killed my friend my life would be so unbearable because of regret and guilt I'd rather die anyway.
