Poll: Would you leave the Escapist if Zero Punctuation was discontinued ?

nah, i wouldnt. ZP brings alot of people here, but once people ARE here they see there is so much more to do/see, so they dont need ZP to stay, they just needed him to draw them in

No, I probably wouldn't leave, but I'd miss it terribly because ZP brought me to The Escapist in the first place (and I have a weird minor crush on Yahtzee. *splutter* *cough* *splutter*).

I also really enjoy Unskippable, Extra Credits, and Escape to the Movies. So, even if ZP was removed, I'd still have those shows, and a minority of you forums weirdos and your bizarre posts tying me to the site.

Umm, no I wouldn't. There is so much more on this site than just ZP. If people haven't figured that out yet, then I think they are missing out on something here.

I genuinely like Doraleous too but since they're on some sort of ridiculously long break if Zero Punctuation was discontinued I wouldn't just up and go but I would lose interest quickly. But I'm not exactly an established member as can be seen by my number of posts and lack of added friends. I just come for the vids. But like I said it would get old fast without ZP.

Nah, I like "Unskippable" and Moviebob too much. And on occasion the Escapist even has good series like "There Will Be Brawl". Not often mind you, but on occasion.

As much as I adore the forums here (GREAT mods, intelligent community, low troll rate, amazingly insightful or fun questions to answer) I think losing Yahtzee would make me slowly lose the interest on checking the forums...

I dunno, as great as the community is, there is only a small chance on forming real proper friendships with people here due to the sheer immensity of the people who come. It's like the difference between visiting a theme park every day by yourself and going to them with about 30 friends only.

Not really, no. I don't think I'd visit less either. I still keep track of several series' on this site, e.g MovieBob, The Big Picture, Extra Credits, Lisa Foiles, the occasional Unskippable and Daily Drop when it intrigues me, and of course, the Escapist magazine itself.

I would be very sad when it discontinues, but no, I wouldn't leave. The forums over here are one of the best i've seen.

The Escapist WILL suffer from the lack of newbies coming in though. Zero Punctuation is the main attraction.
