I have no problem destroying my loved ones, (kidding) but if it is only a projector it isn't a real perfect world is it?

I'll just create my loved ones in my perfect world. And everything else I desire. I shall win.
OR
I could tell him to fuck off... damn the dilemma!

No, but I'd sacrifice myself to let the people I love live in a perfect world free of the horrors of this world.

Not really for three reasons.

1. It's "artificial" and only affects your mind, not the entire world.

2. There is no perfect world without loved ones there.

3. Perfect is boring as hell. There's no excitement or danger involved so can't be all that fun.
1. After a while you will start to think it is real probably

2. You can imagine loved ones there cause, you know, what ever your heart desires. Even if they are really dead

3. Its your definition of perfect. You could turn the world into portal if you wanted to.

Hell fucking no. It's not the real world anyway. Why kill your loved ones to power a fantasy you can't experience in real life. Besides creating copies of your loved ones is like taking a copy of "Starry Night", it's not and can't be the same. It's a fake just like the "reality" you'd be plugged into. I care deeply about my loved ones. I'm taking my cereal thank you.

In my opinion, this is already the perfect world, for me at least. I wouldnt have it any other way.

During that single hour i have, ill create a world that allows me to create and view how different scenarios occur with the same rules that this world has, and i will find out how to keep that knowledge in one of these scenarios and then after exiting the world i will then have all the knowledge that i would require to fix every problem i come across and problems that will exist in the future

i will then kick the guy out unless the scenario where I do agree to his proposition ends up being more beneficial to me

It wouldn't be a perfect world if i had to sacrifice innocent individuals to get it, And it also wouldn't be perfect with my loved ones....

Give us another

If the perfect world is not real then it is not worth anything let alone human life but if the death of my loved ones secure this world, the real world, to be free of disease and the general pain human beings do to others of their own species then I would gladly, with my bare hands, sacrifice my loved ones myself.

Without the people I love the world would no longer be perfect and there would be no point in living. I would rather eat my Cheerios (Honey Nut please), and continue to live this fucked up imperfect existence that is my life with the people I love.

I'd grab the VR helmet and smash it, I'd then proceed to beat him to death. Mainly because this is obviously a dream/nightmare, so my actions have no consequences.

However, if it were real... I'd grab the VR helmet and smash it, I'd then proceed to beat him to death.

Anyone who even mentions hurting or killing my loved ones will soon learn how painful a broken pelvis is.

Loved ones? People are, generally speaking, expendable meatsacks. Bring on the utopia!

Now if you'd asked me this when I was still married, or if you were to ask me this in a few years when I have a wife and kids and something to fight for in this world, you might get a different answer. But right now? I can't say I love anyone that much that they're not expendable meatsacks to be sacrificed for my happiness.

No. Aside from the fact that I don't want to live in a perfect world, I also wouldn't like to live without everyone else.

Smart man.

I would also take issue with the fact that I'd be living in a virtual world, even if my loved ones were present.

I'd kick him out and throw the bowl of Cheerios at him (they taste pretty crap, after all). Then go to the cupboard and make myself a bowl of Crunchy Nut Cornflakes. And a fresh cup of coffee while I'm at it (milk, one sugar :D).
