Yes....but I'd go for more subtle implants. Vision and hearing enhancements would be my thing. Plus they'd be easy to hide from those that might freak the hell out about it.

I definitely wouldn't want 100% perfect memory. As it is, there are things I wish I could unsee.
I think what I want most from cyborgdom is being able to pick and choose what I remember.

I would be fine with some minor augmentations, but I'd be cautious. I wouldn't want to go full Cyberman on it. That said, I wouldn't say no to some Matrix style learning doohickey.

As a type 1 diabetic, I would upgrade that first. Eventually I would want a hand that turns into a chainsaw, it would be...Groovy.

Yes.

But i would wait out the kids diseases first. You know, so it don't get any sort of body rot after an operation.

First my eyes would get fixed. Not being blind in my left eye would be fun.
Then my brain would get the overhaul. perfect memory and all.
After that i don't know yet.

That could be even worse if you're not careful. Of course, it's potential for some pretty interesting sci-fi. What kind of person would you turn into if you could erase whatever memories you didn't like?

If it's aesthetically pleasing and elegant, like in DE: Human Revolution, then yes, as smaller augs would be barely visible. I wouldn't go for anything too crazy like whole limbs, but I can see certain benefits. I'd maybe perhaps go as far as a hand, but only if it was damaged or arthritic or something.

Stuff like enhanced senses would be awesome though. Having a dogs sense of smell would be ace (but it would have to be selectible- certain smells would be baaad!)

My only problem with this is the mechanical part. How often does hardware crash? Quite often. I can deal with my phone acting up, but if suddenly my brain, my heart, my eyes, my hearing or my legs crash then I can't wait 3 weeks to get that stuff fixed.

Lots of things I wouldn't mind to upgrade, but I would want something a little more biological.

Really, it depends on what it is. I wouldn't be overly fond of having a robotic limbs if my original ones are just fine, since any realistic benefit would be quite limited and relatively obvious to onlookers.
On the other hand, got a bionic eye upgrade? Assuming that there sin't a way to just turn them off, sign me up. Better eyesight, HUD, infra-red, all possible.

I wouldn't want to have any sort of brain implant or any software that interfaces with my brain, the idea of possibly getting brainhacked is just to foreign a concept to risk. A purely mechanical upgrade that didn't involve cutting off part of my flesh though, absolutely.

If we're talking Shadowrun-esque Bio-, Cyber- & Nanoware then: hell yes!

Where can i sign up for my MathSPU, Commlink, SimSense Booster and all the other fancy shenanigans? Open my skull and implant that stuff.
I wouldn't go for cybereyes though. I can't even wear contact lenses because im deadly scared of rummaging around in my eyes.

And everybody who'd ask me after my surgery would hear: "I have asked for this!"

Does it have to be in the context of replacing a limb with a mechanical one? I would do that but only if it was

a)Superior to my regular limbs
b)Did not interfere with my regular life
c)Looked remotely like a regular limb, no claws

However, I would be much happier with being injected with nano-machines which augmented your abilities though more subtle means with methods I cannot even being to fathom a la Dues Ex.

I most certainly would, the ability to retract my penis a few inches would make intercourse far more comfortable for my sexual partners.

Yes. In any way shape and form. Just because. Even if it was ridiculously expensive and stupidly pointless. I mean, even if it cost hundreds of thousands of pounds to turn the fingertip of the index finger on my left hand into a lighter, I would do it.

Because trans-humanism is fucking awesome and because I want to become a fucking cyborg. That said, until the kinks were worked out, I would not let anything NEAR my spinal column or my optic nerves. Those things are just way too important to me.
