Two more cents to add from me:
I don't think i could live in a city with no children. It sounds like a good idea--even a paradise--in theory, but in practice, I'm not so certain it is. I couldn't help but notice that the folks who support this idea are only thinking about the short-term benefits. I mean, what's gonna happen when the Nochildopolis (that's probably not gonna be the name of the place, but I had to call it something =P) population gets older? I doubt that the neighboring town of Familyburg would want their kids to find jobs there when they grow up. If the Familyburg now-grown-up children do decide to work there, they would have to, by Nochildopolis law, either have their tubes tied (if they're women), or get a vasectomy (if they're men). I think moving costs and job opportunities were already covered somewhere on this thread. I'm sure the restaurants would be nice though. =)
I think I might have missed some things, so rebuttals and counterarguments are welcome.
