It's become increasingly apparent as I gain years on my life, gain pounds on my posterior, and lose hair on my head that I'm never gettin' any human lovin' so I fail to see any conflict of ethics on the procreational front for my part.
As long as it's sentient and has free will, I guess why not? I think the question should be rephrased as "could] you love a robot", which is a more accurate summation of the situation.
What a sad little existence you would live if you would love a robot. I would love something because it wants to love me back, not because its programmed too.
