I had been hearing rumors that there maybe a premium membership for MW3 that lets you unlock new features like weapons and perks and it apparently maybe a monthly fee. What I want to know is would you pay for it? On top of things like Xbox Live Gold subscription?

Nope.

I hardly intend to even buy the game as it is. That would just give me even more reason not to do so.

If they do that they will lose so many people that only the hardcore of the hardcore will play it.

Nope, and it would stop me playing COD at all. I don't think the game is all that great, and giving paying players an advantage would just stop me even giving it a try. Paying for advantages in a game like that is no different from wall-hacking or aim-botting, they all just give you an unfair advantage that other players can't (or won't) obtain, so why would I support that?

More importantly, why should the developer support that? It's only going to damage the game, I really wish these companies would be a little less greedy, but it isn't going to happen.

If they went ahead with that, I would never buy a CoD game again.
I'm already there, they have been getting gradually worse and after the last clusterfuck of a storyline I cant be bothered anymore.

I won't be buying the game even if they gave you a free stripper for the night anyways.

Can't believe even 1 person has said yes, can we say sucker?

I think a better question is: Will I be buying MW3?

The answer is no. I did buy MW2 and Black Ops. Not that I think they're bad games. But they are the same in every way that matters, including the flaws (no dedicated servers!?).

I don't mind the games, they can be fun. But after 2 iterations I've had enough. I'm not the type to obsessively play multiplayer - I think I got a little over LVL 40 in MW2 and I'm around 35 in Black Ops. I'll be playing Battlefield 3 for sure, and if I need some online action then that's where I'll get it. I also look forward to RAGE. MW3? Not so much.

Same thing I said about xbl: I already pay the cable company plenty for my internet service.
If they want more money, they can go bug Time Warner Cable.

I'm glad to see that most people here agree. Maybe gamers aren't the biggest suckers in the world.
