I am beginning to question the importance of facebook, lots of my friends are logging in more time every day, a few of my friends are logging in everyday for at least 10 minutes.

In all seriousness, though. I suppose you could say I'm attached to the site, in the same way I'm attached to the Escapist and YouTube. I always have them open in a tab and I check them all every so often, especially when I'm not currently doing something.

But as far as paying to use it goes... No, it's not worth it at all.

Damn rights! I print out a sheet of paper with the Facebook logo every day just to toss gasoline all over it and then light it ablaze! Oh shit, I'm paying through the nose for gasoline, so technically I'm paying to burn paper with Facebooks logo.

Craziness aside. I hate those social networking sites with a passion. Not only do they suck the life and brains out of our generation but we have better means of communicating. Like email, Xbox live chat, Ventrillo, phones and the oldest type of long distance communication letters. Seriously those sites breed nothing but stupidity and bad grammer (if you can't take the god-damn time to spell oh my god properly than your just being lazy), as well as being a beacon to pedophile preying on said souless, grammerless, fools.

If people had to pay its popularity would plummet like a rock and no one would use it. I have an account in order to maintain contact with groups that use it to schedule events so I would have no need for an account if they started charging and lost popularity.

No,facebook does what it does but it's not worth paying for. If they started charging they would lose a hell of a lot of customers,probably advertising revenue (why pay for something full of adverts) and plenty of free similar services will spring up to catch the jumpers and rake in the cash for advertising to them.
