btw, Minecraft is apparently 3D-compatible. There's this 3D Anaglyph thing that turns everything 3D-glasses compatible or something. But no, I don't need 3D untill virtual reality hops along.

So it actually looks like nearly 80% said no so the opposite of whats expected.

OT: No here as well, 3D in general is way too much money and is still way to early in its development.

The illusion it creates unfortunately hurts my eyes and nose (for some retarded reason) quite a lot, I could barely sit through AVATAR 3D without taking the glasses off every 5 minutes.

I'm not interested at all. I'm happy with the set up I already have, and I don't require 3D to make me feel immersed.

Definitely works for me with films at the IMAX - but for games, I'm not so sure. I tried some of the glasses at one of the game shows (I forgot the name, sorry) and after about 4 minutes I felt a bit motion sickness. Perhaps not a wise for me to take.

No thank you. I already get headaches when I watch a screen too much. The glasses we use currently double the intensity of the headache and makes it arrive sooner. No 3D is worth that.

Give me 3D without glasses or, better yet, give me holograms.

No. I'd rather stick my dick in a woodchipper. Seriously why would I want to play wearing glasses just to see a gimmick?

Current 3D is not anywhere near good enough for me to splash out on special 3D shite, so no I wouldn't. Once we get holodecks though...

No. I wear prescription glasses, so the 3D ones at movie theaters always either try to take the same space as my normal glasses, or are too big and fall off my face.

I'd try it, at least once.

Oh...

and to all of you that said "no" just for the principal of it, you do know we're arguing about something as shallow as whether fies would taste good with ranch...0o

Just saying because I've noticed some people have gotten pretty long winded with this matter, and well, it's silly...=P

I need glasses. I can't fit 3D glasses over the top of my own glasses. So no.

I'm being shunned by the industry. :(

Honestly, it depends on the game. But if I had the choice to play a game either in 3D or not, and had a 3D TV and the glasses, but it was more expensive in the long run... Honestly, no. I find it underwhelming enough in the cinema. But with a game I think you would just stop noticing it after a while. You're kinda focusing on, y'know... playing the game.

Me too...

I'll just wait around for the holodeck (or better yet, invent it myself!)
